Christmas Eve!

We have a family tradition of passing around one present each and opening it on Christmas Eve to thewors of Twas the Night before Christmas.

It's complete chaos! And hilarious!

Addi was trying to attack the tree all night long.

The Rockband continued on after our Blackfoot visit, when we got home my family immediately came over and we started playing it with them. It's Contagious!

Starring Aldon on the Drums! This kid's got rythum, he can play better than me!

Sing it Mark!

The grandkids played along on their Hawaii souvenir Ukelele's

Gramma Martin's Trees

We all ended up playing Rockband the whole weekend we were there. Even Mark's dad Leonard got in on the guitar, while Meg's whooped it up on the Bass guitar!

Mark and I sold so many Wii's and Guitar Hero's on eBay during Dec. we spent some of the profits on a Rockband and Guitar Hero for ourselves (family present) for Christmas!
This Rockband was a hit, as you can see it has Drums, Bass guitar, Guitar, and Vocals microphone. We brought it up to play with Mark's family the weekend before Christmas.
Even little one & a half yr old Baden was helpin Mark on the drums. He needs a lot of help! (Mark that is....)

Decorating for CHRISTMAS!

We always have so much fun getting the Christmas decorations out! Aldon's favorite part is hanging the lights and ornaments on the tree.
I made these blocks with all the Martin sister in laws during Thanksgiving! Thanks Melissa, they turned out really cute!
We also made these nativity sets a couple of years back. Mark's mom cuts the wood, and we sand & paint them. This is my favorite nativity so far.

I love this picture of Christ, reminding us the true reason for the season.

Annual Martin Family Christmas Tree Hunt

This is our 6th Christmas Tree hunting expedition, pretty much every year since we've been married, Mark & I have gone to the mountains to cut down a tree either by driving up and walking into the woods and finding one, or by snomobiling in and having a sweet little ride while looking for one! This year was Addi's first tree hunt! She looked so cute only 6 months old all bundled up and riding a snomobile. We had a great time and found us a pretty christmas tree to bring home.

Facebook

Check Jaylynn and I out on facebook for those who know what that is! If don't know what it is you need to learn and get a profile on there. It's another great way to avoid any phone conversation with those you love by communicating via the internet! That way we never have to talk to the ones we love face to face!
