I'm So Glad When Daddy Comes Home....

...Glad as I can be, I wrap my arms around his neck and climb up on his knee!!!
(not sure if that's exactly how that primary song goes) but it is exactly how my kids & I feel.
The instant that he is home, Aldon is on him and then of course Addi is reaching and smiling at him, so up on his other leg she goes, & he also ends up with Izzy-dog on his lap! This is the typical picture of them before bed. Always playing some fun game or reading stories all of us piled on Daddy's Lap!

I love these pictures of Aldon and Dad just zoned into the game they are playing, they wouldn't even crack a smile for the camera "too into the game"
Thank you Mark for being such a wonderful Daddy and husband to our two sweet kids!

Snow much more fun!

While Mark was away on his golf trip in nice warm weather, it snowed and snowed here in Twin, and Aldon just couldn't resist going out and playing in it! So while I shoveled the drive we threw it in a pile and made a huge.......

My Blogging Buddy

Well, I now see how this is a huge time-taker. This blogging ordeal is addictive! Many a nights are wasted (i say well-spent) on this laptop blogging away my life. Even my daughter has become quite the little blogger! She loves to watch mommies fingers clicking away on the keys and all the pictures that pop up. Only trouble is...she wants to add her two bits in and pushes all kinds of fun keys like backspace and delete, so we end up repeating a bunch.

Our blog is on the screen, and Addi is wondering why I have her hand pinned down under mine, oh good times!

I have found that this is one of my new favorite hobbies. I love being able to stay home with the kids except for an occasional thursday when I fill in at the dental office. I have found so many hobbies that I never had time for before when I was working full time. In fact now I have so many fun things, I don't have time to do all of them! A few of those include, Blogging, Facebook, scrapbooking, card making, making headbands - ribbon belts - bracelets for Addi, jewelry beading, and jewelry boards for bracelets I make for others. It's all so much fun, I just don't have the time to do all of it. So I end up doing most of it late at night while Mark is playing Halo Live with people halfway across the world, leaving perfect time for me to do all of my fun hobbies!

Our other child Jeff had a birthday!

Okay, so my brother Jeff had a birthday, we celebrated it at our house, since he's practically our other child! Whenever he comes home from college he stays at our place. Mark and him are joined at the hip, inseperable!(Mark says "more like think of the movie Stuck on You, the two crazy brothers stuck together lol). Mostly he hangs out over here so he can stay up playing Halo live with Mark into the weee hours of the morning! We gotta find this guy a girlfriend!

Snow Much Fun!!!

Some call this work, we call this FUN! The first real heavy snowfall for us and these kids can't even wait until it stops snowing completely to go out and play in it. Aldon and Daddy made a slide out of the huge snow pile from shoveling off the driveway.

Look at all this SNOW! One reason we love Idaho, all the fun snow to play in for one or two days enough to get your fill....then it melts.... so you don't have to constantly drive around in it.

Island Park Vacation!

My whole family always goes up to Island Park for week after Christmas! It has become a family tradition, & one that we all look forward too! (well ya, till we realize we are all stuck in the same cabin!)

They have Swimming pools at the resort, and it's always nice after a long cold snowmo ride. They have a hot shallow kids pool, where Aldon loves to swim every day!
