Bowling Fun

The day after Christmas ~ it's a family tradition to go Bowling!
All the little girls fell asleep on the way there...
This is Adi asleep on the table, with Uliana & Aisley asleep in the carseats next to her.

Meigan decided she wanted to join in on the sleeping fun! She was awake when they walked in and her head started bobbing while we were talking to her....so funny!

Christmas Morning 09

Christmas Day (round 2)

We headed over to my parents to do Christmas presents all over again after we opened em at our house.

Aisley enjoyed her very first Christmas!! It was so fun to have this sweet little baby in my arms to help remind me that Christmas is all about a sweet little baby born long ago. There's something special about a new baby at Christmas time. Aisley was so happy the entire day and just loved sitting by the Christmas tree and staring at the lights. Aldon and Adilynn had tons of fun playing with all their cousins with their new toys together.
It was such a fun Christmas Day out at Grami & Gramps house with
everyone!

Christmas Eve & Christmas Tub Game

I love love love Christmas Eve!
We always spend the day cooking up yummy food, finish wrapping presents, and then we head over to my parents house for early dinner. We start with a Huge Christmas Eve dinner and then we gather for the scripture reading and then we usually read Twas the Night Before Christmas and all Pass around one present to open early. This year the kids opened their present first and the adults sat in a circle & passed our gift bags around as we read "Twas the Night Before Island Park" which we compiled all of our childhood memories of family trips to Island Park into a story to be read. It was hilarious! We all had a good time with everyone. We ten usually have the Christmas Tub game: my parents have a bunch of little trinkets i.e. flashlights, ties, socks, cooking utensils etc... wrapped in newspaper in the bin and we put on gloves and roll dice for doubles to start unwrapping! Super Fun!

Mark was trying to act like he was sleeping, he had Aisley all propped up asleep on pillows,
so that he could pass around the gifts while he was sitting in a circle with everyone. Cute!

As mom is setting out the presents for the kids to pass, they started to peek and open them, so what else to do when you have three 2 yr olds, not at all interested in waiting....
Let em Rip! My mom just says "uh, ok start opening..." as she is crackin up laughing at the chaos!

So fun to open 1 present on Christmas Eve!

New cousin Uliana!

It was so fun seeing these two together! They are only 4 days apart, but look like they could be a month apart, since Uli is on the plump side and Ais is on the skinny side of the growth charts!

These two are gonna be sweet cousins!

Early Christmas w/Mark's Family

We went up to spend the weekend before Christmas with Mark's family. The first night there we were able to go on a wagon ride through a Live Nativity with his family.
This was soooooo Neat! I wish they had something like this where we live. They had Huge wagons lined with hay-bails being pulled by these massive Clydesdale horses that pull you around the city park and stop and different live scenes depicting Christs' birth.
Then at the end they had hot chocolate and cookies by the fires to get you warmed up. It is all put on by donations from all different churches in town and people volunteering their time. SOoooo Nice and Wonderful! And neat to have our kids see what it might have been like, and to see it all acted out.
