Waking up Christmas morning





Sorry, these are backwards. Christmas eve Mark's family came over and we all dressed up and ate dinner and told a few stories.

Cooper's favorite toy!!


Grace came out of her room (her and Zach share a room) wearing Zach's cloths and told me "I look pretty mom" Zach's cloths, the shirt is inside out and the shorts go to her ancles.

First snow fall. Zach was so excited it snowed. It was on Sunday so Zach had to wait all day to go outside and play in it.

We went to a halloween party at the school on Saturday. I think the kids favorite part was playing on the playground afterwards.

Zach and Grace with all of there candy. They had so much fun trick or treating this year. They could have done it all night long!

Mark made family night treats. He mad DIRT! chocolate pudding, cookie crumbs and gummy worms in the middle. The kids LOVED it.

I have been really bad about taking pictures lately! I hardly have any from the last couple of months. Here are a few though.

Total blackmail picture of Zach!!! I went to check on Zach and Grace and they had swapped short/skirt. Fortunately, Zach didn't wear the skirt too long and had taken it off before Mark got home from work.

We found this little creature on our wall a couple of weeks ago. I'm not sure how it got in our house but the kids that it was so cool!
Cooper always smiling. He is such a fast crawler! Half the day his is chasing me down and the other half he is exploring. I found him in the closet (behind him) the other day all by himself chewing on all the shoes. I have also found him under Grace's bed, and in the bathroom standing up to the tub or kid potty. (i'm trying to leave the door shut now)

I ran a race this Saturday and after the race they had a children's race. Zach and Grace wanted to run so while Mark held Cooper I ran with Grace and Zach. When the race started Zach took off and I stayed back with Grace. Zach thought he was so fast because he beat us. Later that day I was talking to Zach and he was talking about how fast he was and he asked me, "Mom, did you see the red stuff on my back because I ran so fast?" Apparently he thought he ran so fast that he had flames coming out his back. I thought that was funny and cute!

The kids love the water! They have been playing in our little pool, or sprinklers almost everyday. I will be really sad when the weather starts getting cold. I love the heat!

Cooper has been getting into EVERYTHING!! He is a fast crawler and when he sees me he will crawl around the house until he catches up to me. He is usually pretty good about just playing on the floor but also loves to be held.

Zach started school today (4k). He has been so excited to go to school. For the last couple of weeks he has been constantly asking me when he starts going. I'm about ready to go pick him up....hope he had fun!

A couple of weeks ago we had a movie night with kids. We blew up the air mattress and watched Hoodwinked TOO. Grace got pretty restless and crabby so we took an intermission and put her to bed. The kids loved it. (Thanks for the great idea Charlotte!)

I guess I never do learn my lesson...

Zach said that his favorite part of the trip was jumping on the tramp. He probably spent about 8 hours a day jumping on the tramp.
Grace loved the pool! She has NO fear of water. She slid down the slide, jumped off the diving board and would swim all around the pool with her water wings. She even did it without water wings! Mark had to swim over a saver her a couple of times. We had to keep a really close eye on her.

Sorry, this is backwards but we stopped at WallDrug on our way to Utah. The kids loved eating lunch at the big dinosaur and loved the water fountains at walldrug. We spent about 2 hours there. We were all in need of a long break.
