Why?
Why is it that when I decide to update and catch up on this blog do I find that my Photoshop is no longer working and all I want to do is simply resize a picture for the header? And why when I upload a header picture and it says it will be resized to fit it really does not and only shows one corner of the picture? Ahhhhhh! Allison and Rikki, you see what you have gotten me into!?! Want to resize a pic for me?

Columbia gets some snow!
It snowed here Friday night! I never fully believe the weathermen here when they say there is a chance of snow because they have blown it so many times. But they got it right this time and I was glad! I have secretly been jealous of all the snowy and icy weather going on this winter. It started at our house around 4 in the afternoon and stopped around midnight. Here are some pictures!

*notice the leaning tree in the left corner

*notice the untouched riding toy

*notice the upright lanterns

*we have a kagillion way tall pine trees in our yard

*this morning I heard a thud and did not think anything of it because as I rounded the corner I saw Anne Carter sitting next to the oven and thought she had just fallen because she does that a lot. Then I took a few more steps and noticed one of those pesky pine trees had fallen across the yard. All it touched was one of the lanterns and the riding toy! We are pretty lucky it fell straight across the yard and that it was a fairly small one compared to most of them.
