Al Borland

Look who we had over for dinner!

Okay, so it wasn't Al Borland, but I would rather have this cutie eating next to me than anyone famous.

We celebrated Lacey's birthday while her Grandparents were in town.

She didn't even hesitate to go for it.

Notice the death grip around that cake.
I think she liked it.

She also liked her presents...

but unfortunately when you are the youngest you don't get to play with them for very long before an older sibling takes over.

A little bit about my 1 year old girl:
  • She loves "patty cake" and "here's a ball for baby"
  • She loves the phone and pretends to talk on it when she gets a hold of it. She can say hello, but with out the consonants. Close enough, right?
  • She is a major sweet heart
  • She loves to flirt with older boys and men, but women make her nervous.
  • She loves graham crackers and bananas
  • Of course she loves her daddy and will often yell "Da" when she wants him. Oh, and if Matt comes home and doesn't acknowledge her she is very offended and will cry until he does.
  • She loves her older brothers...most of the time.
  • A huge fan of chocolate. That's my girl.
  • She is our little ray of sunshine with her little happy personality.

Things worth Celebrating!

First and foremost Matt passed the Colorado BAR! YAY!!!!!!I am so proud of him!

We broke in our new tent by having a backyard camp out.
Yummy S'mores

We celebrated Easter...

and discovered we had a talent in wearing Easter eggs.

Blake graduated joy school and cut his hair for cousin Carter.

Tyler also cut his hair for Carter and has learned how to go potty standing up. (Not sure if that's worth celebrating since it's messier, but he is proud about it).
Lacey had RSV (not worth celebrating), but she didn't have to go the hospital and she is 100% better. She is also getting closer to crawling.
The only way Lacey would do her breathing treatments with out being hysterical was if she had her Teddy Bear.

Grammie and Granddad came for a short visit. We celebrated Matt passing the BAR, Grammie's birthday and Cinco de Mayo, by going to the zoo, eating frozen yogurt and yummy mexican food. This of course was the only picture I took that day.

The boys also went on their first father's and sons camp out.
I had a night all to myself (after Lacey went to bed)
Matt survived the Father's and sons camp out with Blake and Tyler
My floor has been mopped (That really is worth celebrating)
Matt is taking the Arizona BAR so we could possibly move back to AZ
and I have the most wonderful husband and kids on this planet!
