my growing girl

matty is growing and she loves her milk. she eats about 6-8 ounces in one feeding 5 times a day. but i love those cheeks!!

im teaching her to hold her own bottle but she can only do it if those only like 3 ounces left.....and no i did not teach her to flip off the camera she did that all on her own and she got a time out for that lol.

she sleeps through the night which i love. she has been doing that since she was 6 weeks old.

she sleeps in her crib all night till about 7:30am then she eats and goes back to sleep until 11am.

she is such a happy happy baby. she does get moody between 7-9pm for some reason. but she loves getting her diaper changed, she kicks and smiles. i guess everyone likes a clean bum.

8 weeks old

Here are some of the things Matty likes to do.

She loves to be wide eyed at you.

She loves her baths. She never cries when shes in the warm water.

She loves sticking her little touge out.

Its sure cute now but she better not do that to me when she is older.

Most of all she loves to sleep. She has been sleeping through the night for 2 weeks now and its great. Also when she was 6 weeks she starting looking at us and smiling.

Just 8 weeks ago today our little Matty blessed our lives with her presents. We were both very surprised to find out she was a girl. I was guessing boy and I was very much wrong. We love her so much. It will be really hard to go back to work in 5 more weeks but I am so lucky to have the time off work with her.

Baby Time!

I know that my last post was from August but seeing how that I am almost a year behind and decided to just skip to the present. We decided that we have been married for just about seven years and it was time that we start a family. I found out on February 27th...but it was such a faint line that I just couldn't believe my eyes. So the next morning I took another one....and that evening. By now I was like maybe its just cause these were the dollar ones. On Tuesday March 1st when I got off work I invested in a pregnancy test that said PREGNANT or NOT PREGNANT. Well this was the fourth test that I had taken in the past three days and the fact that it said PREGNANT I decided to believe it. I waited for Matt to come upstairs so I could tell him. I showed him the test and he look at me and said, "Cool, that's what we were trying to do." HAHA Matt makes me laugh. He was so happy inside that I guess he just couldn't express it all at once. I needed to tell someone else so I went to go call my sister so we could start planning when and how we would tell our families.

We waited till April 1st after we had our first appointment and because it was April Fool's Day and I wanted to see if they would believe me. This picture was taking on Matt's birthday (April 11th) we had a very nice meal that soon after I ran to the bathroom to throw up.

The first 14 weeks of my pregnancy were not my favorite and I thought that being sick would never ever ever end. I was throwing up at least three times a day. At home...at work...at peoples houses...need I say more. Now that I am over that part it wasn't so bad I guess.
