The Yakima (Central Washington) Fair

What fun taking kids and grandkids to the fair. It's just like old times - remember when we used to go to the Yakima Fair with Bonnie and Delos? Peyton LOVES the pony ride. Tyler (daddy) loves the walk beside his little girl.

Maddy just loves watching her sister ride the pony!

EVERYONE has fun at the Fair - Megan and Aaron show their prowess for farming while Tyler and Aaron watch Peyton in the Corn bin.

And then there is the support crew - GG (Great Grandma Conger), Bob, Megan and Katie - and the unsung hero - the photographer - Nana!

Going to the Zoo

Bekah, Megan, Addy, and Jacqui - starting out at the zoo. But Addy would rather push the stroller than ride in it....boy is she independent!

Making Brownies

Megan wanted to spend some time with Addy so she decided to make brownies with her. Addy was so excited so she got her apron/bib on. Addy helped Megan crack the eggs, hold the mixer and blend everything together. It was so much fun watching Megan and Addy make brownies.

It was fun to watch Addy try to eat the batter while it was being mixed. But she did learn patience and waited to the end so she could lick the spatula. (It almost looks like she's eating the spatula.) Hey, this is more fun than a movie - well, almost!

Skype - our new best friend

We don't have pictures yet, but last night we got to talk face to face with Trevor, Bekah, Addy and Jacqui - yet they were in Japan and we are in Sammamish! It was so-o-o-o fun. Next best thing to being there! I'll get a picture next time.

Trevor went just about as far away as he could to college (Boston, MA), then to Japan on his mission, and now he's taking his family back to Japan for 2 years - do you have to take the grandkids, too?

Jacqueline's Birth - Trevor & Bekah's new baby

Our 4th Granddaughter, Jacqueline Kate was born on January 6 at 9:39 p.m. and weighed 6 lbs 5 oz, 20.5 inches long. Family is doing great and living in Bremerton until March. They'll be moving to Japan for a couple of years......not a nice thing to do to the grandparents....but we're excited for their opportunity.
