Another year has come and gone. Our family closed out the year with another fun night at the Paez house for epic Christmas Eve games, visiting and snacking. Then we came home for Santa to drop by.
While Tyler and Anthony were fishing, Austin and I were supposed to drive to Texas so he could meet Skye in person for the first time. She was visiting her mother for Thanksgiving and would be close enough for him to drive over and see her. The morning he was schedule to leave he decided he would go alone. A decision that was very hard for me but in the end I understand why he chose to go solo. He checked in with me several times throughout his drive. He finally made it and was so happy to spend some time with this girl he had been talking with for a couple of years.
This Thanksgiving was held at our house and it was perfect. We started the day off with a quick workout then home to stuff our faces.
Our bathtub cracked so Anthony had to redo our entire surround. It turned out way better than we had before.
My mom got a new dog. We finally convinced her that she needed a smaller dog and one that was easier to handle. In comes Maggie the Cavipoo that has grabbed their hearts and held on tight.
This year for Halloween our center did something so fun. We held a team pumpkin decorating contest. Each team decorated their pumpkin then we posted them on social media and had the public vote. Of course ours one! KJ did all the work and decorated ours to look like the Evil Queen from Snow White. It was a fun team building contest.
