The children are back in school and doing well. The boys are enjoying soccer and hip hop and when soccer is finished they will add karate to the hip hop. Soccer keeps them busy and they love it. Tyler told me his favorite friends are on his soccer team. He loves hanging out with them. Jacob loves soccer also. He has a friend who plays on his team and they practice all the time when they are together. even at church and I have to get on them for that one. lol He also gets to perticipate in the highschool soccer games. He is a ball boy and I think thats great because he is starting to learn things from these HSchool boys. They are busy but if they keep good grades then fun sports of your wish. if slack then bye bye recreational activities. They are doing well and learning lots about responsibilities and having a great time w rewards. The boys are also busy with scouts. Tyler now has his bear award and arrows to go with it. So he is ready to go to webelos. Jacob had achieved all his cub scouting before he was 11 and also recieved his arrow of light. He is now an 11yr old boy scout and his camping and biking and some other things. My boys went camping the other night with Jason and we had a huge thunder and lightning storm. one set of boys in a different tent that they went with had a huge flood in the tent so they ended up all in with my kids and Jason. Jason said how is camping fun when u have a night like this, no sleep, freezing, and u come home to clean everything up. reminds me of the stories w my dad and now he loves it! The boys had fun and want to go again.
Lindy is very busy also she goes to kindergarten and just loves that and she says she has homework all the time and practices writing and drawing and reading. she also is in dance, gymnastics, and cheer. In gymnastics the team bumped her up 2 levels above her age. They say she is a natural and she could go all the way but when u ask Lindy what her favorite thing to do she will say Cheer and not gymnastics. she only likes gymnastics because it helps her with all the tricks in cheer! The one thing Lindy says she wishes is that she lived by her cousins. She just misses being around them and has so much fun with them. she is determined to grow her hair out like Repunzle so she can throw her hair to her cousins house and when they want to see each other they just grab on her hair and she brings them to her or she swings over to them. she also has asked her Grandpa James if he will make her a repunzle house. she is all about repunzle.
All 3 children were on a swim team in the summer and they had a blast! Tyler does free style, back stroke, and breast stroke, and started learning the butterfly. Jacob does free style, back stroke, breast stroke, and the butterfly or as he says fly. Lindy can do free style, and breast stroke by herself w someone watching and she does back stroke but to afraid of someone letting go of her on that one. she is just little and so fun to watch. all three did a swimathon this year. lindy did 20 laps w a tube, tyler did 50 laps, and jacob did 100 laps. No one had a break. I was very proud of them and amazed.
I'm busy myself. I am teaching dance and am the dance programmer over at a studio that also has gymnastics, cheer, Karate etc. but while I'm teaching my kids are in one of these activities and we all win win. It's been a blessing how its working out and coming together. also I got released from scouts and am now w the 11 yr old girls doing activity days. I have 12 girls who show up always and they are just great. sometimes a handful. It's kinda funny to be with these girls because my son Jacob is the only boy in the sunday school class with all these girls and they just go nuts. Jacob tries to bring his friends to church all the time so he isn't the only boy. Let's see what else do I do well I take the kids on family activities to accomplish the boys scouting and we bring Lindy along and she loves it. Oh and I am coaching Tyler's soccer team but I do have an assistance and thats been a learning experience. I'm trying to stay more organized in activities and home and church so we can have down time and play time. It's starting to work but have some tweaks to figure out. I am excited for the holidays to come. the kids and I have decoration plans and making cookies and that will be all fun :) other than that I think thats it for me besides the normal cooking etc. oh I am going to start making quilts when my kids are in school. they need new ones and for what they want I'm just going to tie some. they will keep them warm this year. oh one more thing I worked really hard this summer on landscaping and I'm glad I only have one more time to go work in the yard before winter.
Now about Jason, He could probably tell u more than me but I'm writing so this will have to do. Jason is a captain for psa airlines and a sim instructor and when needed he did do some ground instructing this year. when Jason is flying he is based here in dayton and when he is doing the sim he is in charlotte and has a crash pad with other pilots. He flies home every chance he gets and spends his time with us, running his errands, doing his church calling, assistant ward missionary, and when we are all busy he golfs sometimes with my cousin Jeff or just by himself. Jason also takes Lindy out on a daddy daughter date,I think part is because her and I are about to tear each others hair out and we are just trying to be nice to each other tell Jason comes home. The hardest is 4 or 5 days with out him. Jason also gives me a day with him like the other day all the children were in school and we went out to lunch and just spent the day together. it was nice :) and he has helped a lot with the boys and taking them to soccer and then they went camping the other night, they watch football together and other boy stuff. He also goes on walks with us all and goes to the parks etc. one thing he did for us this summer, is took us to Kirtland Ohio and saw the history and then he took us to Cedar Point and stayed for a couple of days and even I went on the scariest ride ever but I will say the best coaster ever. And we saw snoopy and his friends at Cedar Point. The kids and I had lots of fun those days w him. Then we went to Utah and got together with all my family and the kids played with cousins and had a nice time. My family loves playing board games and Jason got a couple of new ones to play with everyone and that was a blast. I think he even let me win one game. how nice he was. not even I beat him fare and square! bwahahahaha and then he creamed me the next time lol. I love him :)
Anyways thats about it for our year so far. We have some good things coming the rest of the year and excited about it :) Jason's Parents are coming for Christmas and we are all excited! Lindy is all reminding us about birthdays, and halloween and we are all praying for snow this year. well at least my kids are. Hope everyone has a great year and see ya!
