We're Moving

No, not to a new town . . . just to a new blog! I am just about to max out my storage space on blogger, and when that happens, we can't have any more pictures. Since we're coming up on some pretty big picture moments in the next week, I wanted to go ahead and switch over to our new family blog. This one will still be here and there is a link on the new blog to come back to this one any time you would like to browse around. However, from here on out we will only post on the new blog, so please update your bookmarks, links, google reader, etc.

Our new blog address is: http://mccravyfamily.blogspot.com/

You can also click on the link on my sidebar (to the right) and that will take you directly to our new blog. It looks like this:

We have a pretty exciting week ahead of us so come check out our new blog for all the important updates!

Pool Day

Yesterday we had a playdate that included lots of kiddie pools, toys, sand, friends, and yummy food (blue juice to be specific, as that's one of the highlights Jack told his Daddy about last night). We had a blast and I took one or two pictures . . . .

The infamous "blue juice" - I'm pretty sure it was just kool-aid, but I guess we don't branch out enough here at home.

There was also an easel set up with washable paints - HUGE HIT!!

Notice the paint leftover from her masterpiece. Jack even had orange paint in is ear canal! Good thing it washed right off when they got back in the pool!

Sitting with sweet Ryan and waiting to get dressed.

Bringing Home Baby (or Babies)

Today I bought babies for both Anna and Jack. I thought with our new baby coming next week, they should each have a baby of their own. They were so cute playing with their babies - they loved them! We went through the crates of clothes and picked out onesies that each wore as a baby themselves, and put them on their own babies. Jack loved that his baby was wearing a choo choo train!

The new babies (which Jack named Gordon and Molly - they are Thomas' friends, just in case you're not up on your Thomas the Tank Engine info) got a ride in the car seat . . .

had storytime . . . .

a bath . . . .

a very gentle rocking (as she was singing "rock baby"). . . .

and a nap.

It was a busy day!

This afternoon, Jack came downstairs and said to me that his baby wanted to watch Madagascar and that he thought that was a good idea, too!

Oh my!

Happy Mother's Day

Our day included lots of fun things: church, lunch out, gifts, naps for everyone, Marble Slab . . . .

But take a look at what else we got done today:

While we were finding places for all the baby stuff, these babies found the boppys and decided to take a little rest.

Happy Mother's Day to all the Mamas out there. I hope your day was as lovely as mine!

New 'Do & the Zoo

Because I'm trying to mask Anna's mullet the best way that I can, I decided to try pig tails on her the other day. It actually worked and looks so cute! I tried to take some pictures, but you can't really tell that it's pig tails from the front. I caught her looking like this and had a little flash into the future when she's a teenager and she starts doing this constantly (I'm sure that she will since I was an avid eye-roller, or so I'm told)!

Yesterday while I was at the doctor, Grandy & Granny took the kids to the zoo. They loved feeding the goats and climbing on all the statues. Apparently every day care in the area had a field trip at the zoo yesterday, so they didn't stay very long, but here are some pics they took.

Oh, baby!!

It's official . . . we're having a baby in 13 days!!!! Our ultrasound today went really well and the baby is up to the 31st percentile, measuring in at 6 lbs, 2oz today. Everything looks good and I'm already dilated a bit, so we scheduled an induction date for Thurs, May 21st. Woo hoo!!!!

With only 13 days left before the newest McCravy arrives, it's a shame our crib looks like this:

And this is what the rest of the nursery looks like:

Guess we better get a move on and start getting ready for a baby!

Stats

Today both of the kids had well-visits at the doctor, and for the sake of record keeping, here are their stats:

Jack - 3 years
35 lbs
39'' tall

Anna - 19 months
24 lbs
33 '' tall

Jack showed off for the doctor and talked his ear off. Anna wouldn't have anything to do with him and barely made any eye contact. Go figure . . . it's usually the other way around! Both are healthy, though, and right on track developmentally.

We have an ultrasound tomorrow to check on #3 and see how baby is looking, size-wise. I'm hoping if everything is ok, I can set an induction date for very soon! We will keep you posted.
