Over Easter weekend we stayed in Rockport, which is about 30 minutes from Corpus Christi. We went to the Hooks game on Thursday night and stayed in Rockport at the Lighthouse Inn that night. The hotel was so pretty! We will definitely be going back! Thanks, Randy and Cindy! The next day, we went to Port Aransas, which you get to by ferry, to go to the beach. It was really fun. Tanner had a BLAST!! She loved the sand, loved the water, loved the seagulls, basically she loved everything about the whole day! We had so much fun watching her. We could hardly get her out of the water, even though it was FREEZING!! We buried her in the sand, and she had a good time helping us. She kept putting handfuls of sand on the top of the pile.
Pointing to the seagulls
At our hotel. We really did love this hotel! This is right outside the hotel. It sits right on the water.
The back of the hotel. The pictures really don't do it justice.
Stylin'!
Look what I found!
She liked to wiggle her toes out of the sand.
Adding a little to the top...
We let her "drive" after we got her all cleaned up. She had so much fun!

Corpus Christi Hooks Game
Every year for the past three years we have made it a tradition to go to a Corpus Christi Hooks game. They are the double A team for the Astros. This year we were able to make it to opening night, which was really fun and festive.
Like father like daughter...
I have a picture in front of this statue with Tanner from last year, and one from when I was pregnant. Here is this year's:She was VERY excited about her first nacho!
Chasing Tanner...
Still chasing Tanner...
She was stylin'!

Tanner's First Easter Egg Hunt
The week before Easter, we went to my friend Abby's house for an Easter egg hunt. There were lots of kids and they were all ready to find some Easter treasures! Tanner did really well. I showed her what to do once, and that was it! She took off looking for eggs. I had to help her find some of them, but she knew just what to do when she saw them. We had a great time. Abby had cupcakes and juice boxes for everyone and the kids really enjoyed themselves. They all lined up until we said "Go"!
She was ready!!
Tanner looks like she has an early love for golf. She had so much fun putting the ball on the tee and hitting it off!
