Random Pictures

Here are a few recent pictures that I have taken of Tanner.

She loves to wear sunglasses....mine, hers, or anyone else's!
I love her smile in this picture
She loves to listen to my iPod. I always let her listen on the way home from the gym.

Like all kids, Tanner loves to play in boxes!

She was being Abby Caddabby from Sesame Street. She walks around with her wand and says "leather feather leather feather time change weather!" Abby's version is a little different, but it cracks me up!
Tanner loves hoodies. Whenever she wears one she always wants the "hat" on. This particular one has its own name. She calls it her "pizza jacket", I guess because it looks like a pepperoni pizza. Crazy imagination!

Different day, different hoodie...

Logan's 1st Birthday Party

The day after Rob and Jenn's shower, we went to Logan's 1st birthday party at Fallon and Brandon's house. He had a rubber ducky theme and everything was soooo cute!!! He got a lot of really good toys and he had a good time playing with his cousins. Tanner had a great time with all of the rubber duckies. There was a floating ducky game where you pick a duck and you got a surprise that corresponded to the number that was written on the bottom of the ducky. Tanner had a BLAST with this game! She kept picking rubber duckies!

Sofia looked so cute!

Fallon made a really cute slideshow of Logan's 1st year

Can you tell they are related?

She was EXHAUSTED that day!

Rob and Jenn's Shower

This weekend we went to Lake Jackson and Katy for a few events. The first was our friends Rob and Jenn's baby shower that I helped host. They have baby number 2 on the way. It is a boy, and his name will be Carson. The shower was on a Saturday night and we drove in that morning to Lake Jackson to pick up the cake and drop Tanner off with her grandparents. We then drove to Houston and hit the grocery store for more supplies. Then, it was off to Katy for the shower. We had a great time, and it was really good to see them. They are due in February, so it won't be long!

Tanner's 3rd Halloween

We had a GREAT Halloween weekend! Well, if you don't count the fact that Tanner and I have been sick for over a week now. Tanner has strep throat and I don't know what I have. I was treated for the flu and now I am on an antibiotic. I still don't feel 100% better, and Tanner doesn't either. She had 103 degree fever last night. It is down to 101.8 this morning, but still going and this is her 4th day on her antibiotic. Who knows what is going on. Either way, we had a great weekend. Friday night, we decorated cookies and lit a fire in the fireplace. The next morning, we got up and Clinton made sausage gravy and biscuits for breakfast. We got ready to go to San Antonio to The Little Gym, who was having a Halloween party for the kids. We met Paxton and Tawny and the kids there to play. I didn't think Tanner was contagious at this point because she hadn't had any fever all along and she had been on her antibiotics for over 24 hours. Who knows, looking back, if she was or not. I really hope not! Anyway, we played there for awhile then hit Chick-fil-A, Tanner's favorite, on the way home. When we got home, we put Tanner in her cat costume. Tanner had a black leotard and I sewed black boas on it to make it fluffy. I added a tail, tights, and cat ears and the look was complete! It was kind of funny, though, because she looked like a bird at first. I had to go and snip off the feathers so that it was just the fluffy stuff left so she didn't look like a black bird! We have boa all over our house still, even after three vacuuming jobs! She looked adorable in her costume, though, and she had a blast acting like a cat. She would meow and everything. It was too cute! We went trick-or-treating at a few of our neighbors' houses and then came home to hand out candy. Tanner had a good time looking at all of the costumes and saying "Happy Halloween!". She even helped me give candy to the kids. We ran out of candy around 7:30 because there were SO MANY trick-or-treaters! We were in bed by 9:30. It was a good night!

Getting ready to decorate cookies on Friday

We gave her a mustache. It was hard to get a picture before the sprinkles started falling off, though!

Tanner's masterpiece
Some other creative works of hers
A few, less artistic, cookies that Clinton and I did.
She dumped the entire thing of brown sprinkles on this one cookie
Enjoying the fruits of her laborThese are Tanner's "baby pumpins"
Tanner was "cleaning" the table with a baby wipe while Clinton made breakfast.
All ready to go to The Little Gym. Her costume was still having feathers plucked off of it so we went in Halloween attire instead of full costume.

The kids got to lay on the bouncy platform while they were blowing it up. She loved it!She was a bouncy hog! She wouldn't get off to let other kids have a turn!

Tanner and Channing swinging on the bar.
They were clapping to the song that was playing. Channing and Jaxson were Raggedy Ann and Andy, but they didn't want to wear their wigs. They were so cute!
I thought this was funny. It looks like he is wearing a Tanner bonnet!
Posing for the camera
Us outside The Little Gym.Our precious kitty cat!

Tanner's trick-or-treat bag was soooooo cute! Erin got it for her and sent it. Her friend, Amy, made it and we absolutely LOVE it!

I though her expression was cute in this picture.
We went trick-or-treating at our friends David and Alma's house. This is their baby, Addison, who is about to be one. Clinton and David carpool to work together, and they just moved into our neighborhood. We are so excited to have them as neighbors!
Tanner was checking out what she got.
She liked shaking the boxed candy. She sat in the bumbo chair to hand out candy. She can hardly get out of it once she is in!
Alma and Addison came trick-or-treating at our house while David stayed to hand out candy.

Checking out some costumes!
