I Want Some Diarrhea

Sounds lovely, doesn't it?

Kade: "Daddy, I want some diarrhea."
Daddy: "What??"
Kade: "I want some diarrhea.  You know that drink in the kitchen in the green bottle."
Daddy: "Oh, some Diet Sierra Mist?"
Kade: "Yep, that one."
Then as Daddy is getting a cup out Kade says as he is pointing to the bottle, "See it says - di-ar-rhea."

Light Saver

Leaving the San Diego Zoo. . . Kade said, "Kirra's smelling my light saver and so I killed her bear!"

A 'light saver' is a light saber in Kadese - and the bear he was talking about was Kirra's polar bear she bought at Sea World the day before.

Big Words

Today I heard an "I need you" from the family room and when I went in Kade said, "I can't do the instructions!" He was trying to match the animals with the letter pocket they went into and couldn't quite figure it out. I couldn't believe he used the word instructions until I remembered he was playing a game with Castle last night and she had told me she had a hard time getting it together so I figured she must have been talking to Kade about the instructions.

How Long Will It Last?

This morning Kirra was snuggled up next to me while I was nursing Keian and she said, " I am so excited for school! We do fun things all day long!"

How Old is Old to a Child?

When Grandpa & Grandma McEntire were here in December Kirra and Grandma were having a conversation on the back of the van as if they didn't know each other. Grandma was asking Kirra questions and Kirra was telling her things like - this is my baby brother and that's my brother Kade. The kicker was when she said, "And this nice old lady brought me some really fun presents." That nice old lady was sitting right next to her - Kirra was talking about Grandma!

This week Kirra was talking with Nana and they were discussing how important is it to drink water. Kirra has been having lots of dry skin issues and Nana always does. So they were talking about how good water is for your skin and Kirra said, "Maybe if you would drink more water you wouldn't have so many wrinkles."

Does she know how to win points . . . I don't think so!
