Well Elijah had a check up today and is kinda low on weight.
He was 14.4 pounds that's 0%
38 inch about normal

He is almost 9 1/2 months.
A problem that we keep running into is the he keeps getting ear aches:( So they are going to try another medication for him and we have to go back in 3 weeks so they can check him again. If there is any sign of an ear ache even a small one they are going to send us over to the EMT. (Ear, mouth and throat specialist to get tubes for his ears.
I feel so bad! I wish that there was something that I could do but I guess it just happens. You would never know that he was sick because he is so happy all the time. So we will see what happens after I get back from CO for 2 weeks:)

(The blog title was from Noah. I told him to say happy Birthday Daddy and he said Happy Birthday to the fish we were eating for dinner.)

So today was Colby's Birthday. Yes yet another Birthday this month. :) Colby is now 26. There is no turning back. I thought that I would write a Blog just for him.

Dear Colbs

I just wanted to let you know that you are the LoVe of my life. You are amazing in so many ways and you are a wonderful Husband and Father. From the time that you get up to the time that we go to bed I am always thinking about you. You have made my life sooooo AMAZING! With out you my life wouldn't be the same. I'm not sure where my life would be and I'm not sure of the person that I would be either. There are sometimes that we argue but what couple doesn't? We may not always see eye to eye but we are heart to heart. When it comes to you and me we perfect for each other. Your my Eternal companion and I wouldn't have picked anyone better. I love your Blue eyes and your cute perfect little smile. You know when to make me laugh and you always seem to make me smile. Your kids love you with all your heart and if Noah could have it his way he would be glued to you where ever you went. Elijah is still warming up to you but he loves you just as much. One day you and your boys will go hunting and do all those manly things that you love to do. You are the most down to earth person that I have ever met and I hope that as time goes on we will only be closer and we will always stay strong. They say that your first year of marriage is the hardest but I think that it just depends on the day! I love you my little muffin and I always will. I hope that you had a wonderful Birthday!

Yesterday the 23rd was my 22nd Birthday:) It was such a good day. I had the kids from 8:45 till 6 because Colby had a field trip to go on. But the kids were really good. It started out with me wanting to sleep in but I could not. So Colby made be breakfast and the kids had already eatin so it was just us. After that I took him to school and got a few things done in town. For lunch I picked up some sushi and had a short nap. My friend Jaci came over and brought me a nice card with my fav. candy bar. SNICKERS!!! lol
For dinner that night I had picked up some steak, salmon and potato's. And we had angel food cake with fresh strawberry's for dessert. After dinner Colby watched the kids and let me go out shopping. I found some super cute shirts and got some super good deals. After I got home about 9 we watched Twilight and just hung out.
I had great Birthday and thanks to everyone for the Birthday wishes:)

And today its back to cleaning:) lol

That's right I found my first gray hair:'( OHHHHH I hope that it doesn't get worse?! I'm only 5 days from my Birthday and I have a new friend that will be pulled out ASAP!!!! I'm to young for GRAY HAIR!!!!

So know that Elijah stands very well he likes to get into all kinds of things. His new fav thing to get into is the trash. He is so fun when he stands up because he still can't figure out how to get down so he gets mad.

On Thursday there was a Career Fair at the school. In the past it's always been a way to get job interviews and learn about what companies you might want to work for. This year there were only 5 companies looking for Construction Managers, and of those 5 there was only 1 that was actually giving job interviews. The rest were telling you to submit your resume online, or that when they ended their hiring freeze they would look over your resume. So that was a little frustrating. It was a reminder how hard of times it is not only for CMs, but for everyone.
The only company hiring was Wester Summit Contractors, a company that specializes in building waste-water treatment plants. After waiting in a line to get my 30 seconds to speak with their hiring person I didn't feel too confident that I'd get a shot. I came back later to talk with him for another 30 seconds and he seemed happy and said he'd call me for an interview. He called that evening and set a time for the next day.
In previous semesters, the day after the career fair was one that there were a lot of people dressed up for interviews. This semester, including myself, I only saw 4 people dressed up out of everyone in the whole program! I felt very blessed to get a chance to interview with him.
During the interview it went very well. Lasted about 30 min. and at the end I told him I'd love a chance to work with them and he said that they could probably make that happen and would be getting back to me quickly, within a week. So...it's looking pretty good!
Their headquarters are in Denver, CO. with regional offices in San Diego, Albuquerque, Houston, and Atlanta. So if it works out, it looks like we may be heading to some warmer weather! We're keeping our fingers crossed. They're a very good company.

So I was sitting at the computer and thought it was a little quit. Then I heard some little feet running around and wondered what could be going on? That's when I saw it the Balmex Monster had attached poor little innocent Noah!!!! I screamed with horror at the sight of the mess.(not really) Then Noah told me the story of what the mean monster had done.

He started to tell me how the Monster came up to him and told him to be naughty and make a BIG mess in his just finished clean house.

Then Noah put up his hands and said NO NO NO. I am not naughty. But the Monster wouldn't lesson to what Noah had to say.


So Noah took me into the kitchen and went on to explain how the Monster made him sit down and put the Balmex all over his arms, hands, face, clothes and feet. And then told him to smear it all over the floor.

He proceeded to take me into the room where the Monster had left the Balmex on his bed.

Noah said that he was so scared and did everything that naughty Monster told him to because he didn't want the Monster to take all his toys and gummy snacks away.


After that story I had to give my poor sweet little man a bath. And told him to tell that naughty little Monster to NEVER come back and that we like having a clean house.

Also just for the record I love cleaning oily Balmex off of lovely wood flooring. So I am hoping that naughty Monster doesn't show it's face around here again.

Last Friday night we got together with Colbys boss/friend and a few of there friends had a fun Korean night. We made some great Korean food and got to meet some new people. We had Bulgogi (thin sliced sweet beef) and short ribs along with sushi and one of the big hits Kimchi (not my fav.). Everyone loved it. I don;t have picture but we were are super full and ended are yummy meal with some Chocolate covered strawberry's that I made and some donuts that another kind family brought. YUUUMMMMYYYY! Thanks for letting us come to your house and make a mess Brandon and Jen:)
