Baby and Nursery Crafts

Here are some photos of a few crafts that I have been working on for the Nursery. Also a few photos of are little girl. Now that Colby takes the car to work every day and he is in town I am home all day every day so I have been trying to think of some fun things that I want to make or things that would be fun to make.
Here is the lamp shade. Sorry I didn't get one of the whole lamp. It was Gold and this lamp shade was a dirty white.

Here is the stand I painted it white and sanded it down for the old feel.

Here is the shade. I used the left over material from the quilt.

And it all together

I bought this frame that was a green color and I also painted it white to go with the theme of the room and then added a few things that I thought would make it cute.
I had so much fun making these and I am so exited to see what they look like when we put them up in her room.
Here she is at 24 weeks Everything went REALLY WELL with the Ultra sound this time and things are healing. The baby was growing well and she looked great they didn't see anything wrong with her at all. I had a wonderful friend put my name in on the prayer roll and I feel that might have been part of this blessing. Thank you!

I love that you can see her little fingers.

I think that Ultra sounds always make them look a little funny. But she's still cute.

A new look

Well it was time for a change for our little man. His hair looks so cute long but I get tired of it looking all messy and tangled in the back. And you can never style it because it's to long to do anything with. Well this morning I had had it with his hair looking like a tangled mess. So off it went. Here is the new Elijah:) I think he looks cute either way.
Before

The messy mess

All the hair. This took forever to cut off with the Clippers

After

So cute!

He wouldn't stay still for me.:)

Quilting Project

I have been working on a Quilt for are little girl for about 2 weeks now and I just finished the front yesterday. It was so much and a lot of time and patients had to go into making this. It was a bunch of 2.5 inch squares and some were cut in half and put together with another color. I think all together I had around 600 squares all together. All that I have left that I need to do now is to buy the backing for it and the trim that will go around it and I will have it quilted. I also made some super cute pillows that will go in her crib maybe when she is little and doesn't roll over then I will move them to a chair or something. But I had some fun making something that took so much work and at the same time I thought about throwing in the towel or maybe burning it because I would get so mad that the pattern didn't seem right. But in the end it looks pretty good for the most part. Not perfect by any means but I think that it will great in her crib.
The next project that I am going to be doing is painting the crib white since the brown wont go with her room colors:)
And me at 23 weeks but I'm turned funny so my tummy looks a little smaller and my shirt pattern makes it a little smaller also and I look like Crummy because I just got up from a small nap:) But I am loving my hair. It's getting so long!!!

A Blog with Photos

So I finally got some photos off the Camera. Some are a little old but mostly so G-ma and G-pa Warn can see there boys and the bump:)
This was obviously at Christmas. Me at 3 months.

Some out side fun. I was kneeling on the ground and Elijah was looking at me.

High in the tree.

He such a good climber

A little newer but 4 months.

The boys got these outfits for Christmas. They are soooo cute!

Noah found these glasses outside and thought that he needed to read with them.

Later we found out they were G-pa's and he wasn't happy.

And of course Noah and G-pa are out making trouble. Scot would drive him around in this and he would climb off and get on a roof and then get back in. He loved it and I think his g-pa had fun to.
Everything around here is going really well. The baby is growing well and the boys are getting bigger every day. I am now 22 weeks and sorry I don't have a photo. We are waiting to get into are home at the end of March so for now Colby drives back and forth to work. He will love when are home is 10min from work and I will loved when he is home more like 5:30 then 6:30. This weekend is V-day and we are going out to a dance should be fun. Happy Valentines day everyone!

Mixed Emotions/ Ultrasound

Well yesterday was my Ultrasound with the specialist and things went well with the baby and bad news for me.
Baby: She looks great and the fluid in her Kidney they said looked more then usual looked normal. She did have a lighter bowel but they think that its because she has swollowed blood.
Blood: That would be from me. I have a hemorrhage in side the placenta with the baby. UGH not what I wanted to hear. I also have another hemorrhage on the out side a lower on my tummy and a place where the placenta is separated. They aren't sure why i have these problems and the Doctor knows that I want answers but he just has nothing that he can really tell me. Also not something I want to hear. He wants me to go back in 2-3 weeks for another ultrasound because he is hoping that this will resolve it self other wise he is hoping the placenta doesn't pull so much away that the baby stops getting what she needs to live. HEART BREAKER!
Me: I was so stressed I had to take almost a 3 hour nap. After that I had a talk with the mother in law and cried once more expressing my concerns and making me tired ready to crawl back into bed. My baby is grown perfectly well which I am so grateful for but on the other side I'm just worried that things will not go so well. But I know that what happens will happen for a reason good or bad and I will have to just take it as time comes.

Taking a step forward

Well we have been looking at homes since we moved back in December. We have even got us a Realistate agent. And....drum roooollllll. We found a house! We got approved for are lone that was easy and then we got are home. The first time that we went looking for homes we had found a house that we really liked and after we left we talked about how much we liked it and that we thought we would make an offer. Well that night at dinner I got a text from are Agent that said there was two other offers that were going to be made and one was over asking price. So that house was a no go. A few days later we went out again and looked at some more homes a lot of them were houses that would have to have things done to them like planting grass, painting, new carpet or tile flooring. They just weren't for us. So we new what we wanted and it was house that we had looked at before that was are second choose the time before. So we looked at the house again and it just felt like home. We told her that wanted to get the ball rolling on the house and signed paper work that night. Well to are surprise that same night some else had looked at our house and wanted to make an offer as well. So we pulled are thoughts together and worked with are agent and came up with a game plan. Well that plan worked out the other couple withdrew there bid and the house owners even lowered the price of the home. Now we just have to wait for all the paper work and all the other things that come with buying a home and we should be able to move into are new home at the end of March:) We are so exited and feel so blessed that we were able to get are first home. We can't wait to start decorating and making it are place.
