What Tess has been up to....

Tess LOVES to dress up. In my old clothes, princess outfits or anything else she can find!

We also experiment with her hair on a regular basis! It has to be fixed or it ends up in her food or sticky from whatever she might be getting into....Lately that means any bottle of lotion or cream she can get her hands on.

And she just likes me to take her picture on a regular basis!

We signed up for a Gymboree class with her friend Liam and she really enjoyed it! She wasn't so sure about the songs at first but decided in the end that she wanted to participate!

One of my favorite things she does is where dress up shoes and rides her scooter. She is pretty good at it considering they aren't the most stable shoes!

Ethan did a round of swimming lessons and Tess enjoyed playing in the kiddie pool every time!

These are some of her favorite outfits.

When Tess turned 1 my sister Becky sent this raincoat to Tess. When we were little we had matching yellow coats and my Grandad used to call us his Little Canaries!

Tess has gotten increasingly opinionated and sometimes it just isn't worth the battle. This day she is having a cookie and a brownie for breakfast!

What Ethan has been up to...

Ethan had a play date every Friday with our preschool friends Morgan and Landon and our Christensen friends Jake and Jayne.

We went to the play Rapunzel for his preschool.

Ethan had a mother's day program where he performed some gymnastics stunts and gave me a new jewelry holder! It was fun to see what they had been learning at school.

One night Ethan decided he couldn't sleep so I told him he could go to bed on the spare bed. He felt that the ski helmet would help "block" out the noise and of course is super comfy to sleep in!

Ethan got introduced to sushi by his friend Landon. He decided that he wanted me to take him to a sushi lunch. I told him he had to earn it and for a week had to have "good manners." He was able to do it so we took Landon with us and had sushi! He ate shrimp, fish eggs, crab, octopus and anything that was put in front of him. He obviously doesn't get that from me!

What Cole has been up to....

For Cole's school I run the field trips. We had the Humane Society come visit

and went to a Skippy Jon Jones play! I have to say this play was the best one I saw that year but we are Skippy Jon Jones fans.

Cole started taking Chinese classes. The teacher was great and would send home homework and so we all learned a little Chinese!

Cole's teacher planned a Mother's Day Tea! It was so much fun. The table setting was beautiful, all the kids dressed up, they made these beautiful vases for us, the kids served the tea and candies and then did a fun program. I have to say, it was one of my happiest mom moments.

 Cole's teacher Mrs. O!

Cole also spent lots of time making slime! He had a marketplace project that he needed to make something and sell at school. His product was a success and he sold all 40 bags of slime!

Cole also had another piano recital. I'm trying to upload the video but it isn't working yet...

Suncadia

Our friend was turning 40 so a bunch of families went to Suncadia to celebrate! I have to say, it was a fabulous weekend with loads of laughs for all adults and kids! There was sledding, a fun pool with a water slide and lots and lots of food to eat. Who's turning 40 next year? Let's do it again!
