7 months!

Grace is a busy bee these days and has been reaching a few milestones! She now sits up on her own, and on the day she turned 7 months, she crawled for the first time! It was definitely more like an army crawl (very low to the ground), but it still counts...right?! And she finally went to her 6 month appt. (1 month late because of our move to Atlanta) and she is 16 lbs 14 oz (25-50 percentile) and 26.25 inches long (25-50 percentile). Michael and I thought she was going to be in the 75th+ percentile since she has become adorably chubby, but we were very wrong with our predictions (Michael guessed she was going to be 18 lbs 8 oz and 28 inches! Haha!).
I seriously didn't know I could love a little creature this much! We are so thankful to God for blessing us with Grace (our baby and of course His gift of grace in Jesus too!).

Grace's favorite new chew toy is the border of her new floor mats...probably not very hygienic!

I apparently forgot to clean her face after her sweet potato meal...

Henry!

My nephew Henry Burrows Goodeve was born on December 2! He is sooooooo cute and looks just like my brother Mac (Henry's dad). We can't wait to meet him when we visit Seattle in February!!!
Congrats Mac and Kaitlyn!

Proud Grantpa/Gampy.

Ducky!

Ducky came to visit right after Thanksgiving and just left this morning. We miss her already! But she and Grantpa will be visiting again right after Christmas, which is right around the corner. Grace and I had a blast spending time with Ducky...shopping, hanging out with CiCi, looking at our new townhome (hopefully the bank approves our offer!!!), watching Grace reach some milestones (sitting up on her own, waving, and almost learning how to kiss) and just laughing and chatting. I wish I lived closer to my mom...thank you God for sweet Debbie Duck!

Thanksgiving

We hosted our first Thanksgiving! It was my first attempt to cook a turkey...and it was a success (or at least it was edible!)! Grace had fun with her Grandma Linda and Papa Jim. And Linda and I shopped 'til we dropped on Black Friday. It was fun, but oh so tiring!

Grace on the Go

Grace isn't quite crawling or walking yet, but boy is she trying! We think she may walk before she crawls because she absolutely loves standing on her legs, plus Michael walked at 8 months. I was a crazy child and would launch myself out of my crib (at 9 months my mom claims), crawl to my parents room, lift myself up to open their bedroom door and wake them up. Psycho! I'm hoping Grace takes after Michael and not me!!!
And she already wants to help with the dishes!

Our Little Peanut

If we have another girl in the future I think we may have to name her Lucy...after my grandmother and because this Peanut's shirt is so dang cute!
