McLaren's Musings

I can't believe that it has been almost a year since I posted last.  That is pretty bad!  But, not sure if anybody EVER checks this anymore so I guess it's not such a big deal.

Today, Scott and I celebrate 19 years of marriage.  I am blessed to be married to my best friend.
Happy Anniversary, Scott.   I fall deeper and deeper in love with you with each passing year.

Connor celebrated his 14th birthday this week.  We celebrated by enjoying lunch at Olive Garden and  eating ourselves silly.  We ate so much for lunch, we had cake and ice cream for dinner and then enjoyed opening presents afterwards.









My birthday is in a few days and my friend, Deborah, asked if she could take me to lunch.  We went to a local place that we both like. I walked in and there was a table of friends waiting for me.  It was a huge and lovely surprise.  They are an amazing group of women.  We had a great time!  Thanks, Deborah for the surprise and to all my friends who made it out to join us. Since Scott is TDY for a few days and will miss both of our birthdays, it was a super fun way to celebrate this year.

This is why having cool Uncles is so awesome!
