Okay, so I guess with 3 boys I am in for 4-wheeling and motorcycling! Matt loves to ride motorcycles and yes we have a few. He has been asking ifI want to go on a "ride" with him and the boys and I keep turning him down. So, we planned to go on a "family" outing to ride the motorcycles. We went with another family that has 4 boys...the Munroe's and they have 4-wheelers. We had the trailer packed with four motorcycles (2 big and 2 small) and three 4-wheelers and some bikes and tricycles. The trailer was definitely a sight to see...talk about "boys and their toys." We didn't take our camera and I am bummed I don't have any pictures to show.
We went to four peaks about an hour away. There were several people out that day riding, but we went further on the trail, so we had a secluded spot. It was nice and flat so it was easy riding for the kiddos. I must say I had a lot of fun! I prefer the 4-wheelers over the motorcycle...but I did ride the small motorcycle. I took the boys on rides on the quads and they were loving every minute. Kline loved getting a ride or trying to ride the small quad by himself. Nathan loved riding the small motorcycle on his own...and he is good. He also loved riding the quad on his own. Tyson learned to ride the small motorcycle and is starting to get the hang of it. They all had a blast!! Yes, we were safe to always wear helmets. I must admit that I enjoyed the day out riding...and with 3 boys there will probably be more outings!

CHRISTMAS DAY 2008!!
(better late than never)

We had a great Christmas this year. The boys were so happy and excited about everything... Nathan and Tyson loved their scooters and Kline loved his 99 cent pack of gum. Kline also loved his 4-wheeler and his dump truck. Nathan and Tyson were also excited about their "Bakugan" guys. They are these magnetic balls that flip open with little characters in them. They are very popular and hard to find in the stores...thank goodness Santa had some luck! :) But what made the day the best was seeing the excitement on their faces. This truly was a magical Christmas! They were so happy and appreciative of their gifts. We enjoyed talking with so many family members and hope you all had a "Merry Christmas" as well. Enjoy the pictures!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was so special. We all dressed up in the Nativity costumes and read the story of baby Jesus. Kline even participated with his headpiece on for just a bit! The boys were really into it. Nathan wanted to be a wiseman and Tyson a shepherd. Kline was also a wiseman. Mary and Joseph were yours truly. We don't quite have enough people to fill all the roles...but we did our best. After we acted out and read the story we had the boys sit in front of the fireplace. While they were all looking at the fireplace, Matt flipped the switch without them seeing, and POW...there was a fire. They were all so excited! It was the first time we turned on the fire in our new house. By the fireplace Matt read, "The Christmas Miracle" a very sweet book. We also sang some songs, opened 2 presents ( one PJ's, and one of their choice), and put out our stockings. Now, to wait for St. Nick.
