I love Arizona! We have definitely been taking advantage of the beautiful 85 degree weather we have been having here this past week. Yesterday I was at the park with the kids and it was perfect. Everyone was in high spirits it was great. Now I am not posting about the wonderful weather here to brag to all my friends and family back home still facing the cold, I just wanted to maybe give ya'll some insight as to why we live so far from home. ;) Today we went to the pool with some friends and their kids. It was fun to get together and just lounge... did I say lounge? My mistake... there is never any lounging going on when I am constantly doing a head count! These kids keep me so busy. We all had a good time and I even managed to get some much needed rays! My skin was starting to glow in the dark... LOL!

VDay
I am finally getting around to posting about Valentines Day. Hope everyone's was great! JD and I celebrated it on Friday due to the fact that we could NOT get a sitter for Saturday night. I tried really really hard too! Anyways, we went out to dinner and a dueling piano joint... had too much fun! Saturday I made sugar cookies with the kiddies and then we all got dressed up in our festive red and black outfits and went out to dinner with the fam. Later that night I made JD watch "Fireproof" with me.... oh man, we had some good laughs! JD was like "who recommended this? And who recommended we watch this for Valentines Day?" Haha, nobody recommended we watch it specifically on Vday... I just thought it was going to be a sort of chick flick! More like Christian marriage counseling and bad acting!! LOL Really though, I think we both took something from it and we did enjoy it. I LOVE you honey and thank you for making this Vday Rock!! XOXO

This pic is random but we also went to the pool this weekend. It was Brody's first time in the water and he LOVED it. We were in the hot tub, he had his life jacket on and just layed back and chilled. He didn't move a muscle he was so relaxed! Most adorable thing EVER! Ahhh we love this little guy!

Indio
JD was working in Indio, CA for the weekend and since it seems like he has been gone so much lately I decided to join him with the kids. We stayed at a World Mark time share resort which was fun. I thought it would be nice to just relax by the pool the whole time while JD worked. Too bad the weather was NOT nice! The first day we were there it was ok, about 65 degrees. The following days it was so cloudy and rained most the time. Oh well, I guess it wasn't much better here in Phoenix either. It was nice to get away for a few days anyways.

Heartbreak
I am too bummed and sad to say much about today's Super Bowl. How insane was the game? "Cardiac Cardinals" for sure. My heart really does hurt right now. Such a let down. My 4yr. old was in tears after the game when he found out the Cardinals had lost. JD told him to never forget this feeling so that he is never in that position because losing sucks! Don't ya love what we're teaching our children?!! Well, here's to a great season and we're still the NFC Champs! And I am STILL a Cardinals fan. Oh yeah, why in the world did they NOT review that final play??? Can anyone tell me that? Such crap..... I hear Rock Band playing downstairs, that ought to cheer me up a bit. Maybe one day I will post the pics from our party and my cute decorations! But right now I just don't feel like it.....
