Nichole Nordeman - I Am

I've changed one part to make it sound proper for a guy. Make this my song.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Pencil marks on a wall
I wasn't always this tall
You scattered some monsters from beneath my bed
You watched my team win
You watched my team lose
You watched when my bicycle went down again
CHORUS:
And when I was weak unable to speak
Still I could call You by name
and I said "Elbow healer, Superhero,
come if You can," and You said "I am."
Only 16, life is so mean, what kind of curfew is at 10pm
You saw my mistakes, You watched my heart break
Heard when I swore I’d never love again
CHORUS:
When I was weak, unable to speak
still I could call You by name
and I said "Heart-ache Healer, Secret-keeper,
be my Best Friend" and You said "I am."
We saw her wear white, by pale candlelight
I said forever to what lies ahead
Two kids and a dream, with kids that can scream
Too much it might seem when it’s 2am
CHORUS:
When I am weak, unable to speak,
still I will call You by name.
"Oh Shepherd, Savior, Pasture-maker,
hold on to my hand," and You say "I am."
BRIDGE:
The winds of change
And circumstance blow in and all around us
So we find a foothold that’s familiar
And bless the moments that we feel You nearer
Life had begun, I was woven and spun
You let the angels dance around the throne
Who can say when, but they’ll dance again
When I am free and finally headed home
CHORUS:
I will be weak, unable to speak,
Still I will call You by name
"Creator, Maker, Life-sustainer,
Comforter, Healer, My Redeemer,
Lord and King, Beginning and the End
I am, yes, I am."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

My God makes me cry.

It's true!

I decided to make a phone call to Kayu @ Melbourne this morning. And I spoke to the manager there. It's confirmed. They said they will actually open when the Commonwealth Games begin, asking the sports minister to come and officiate the opening. Wahhh.. gotta wait so longgggggg... then my alarm rang and I woke up.

Phew... just a dream.

But then I checked the website... Soft launch Mid October. Hmm... not a dream after all.

WillZ

ps. Haha.. some of you are thinking, "wah.. how come he always dream about Kayu?"... aiya.. gotta have an interesting way of blogging ma.. takkan just put "I checked the Kayu website... Soft launch Mid October." meh?

The Great Outtheres...

There is more to life than this. If there isn't, I think the dead end is here. To close my eyes and never to wake for a long time.

La la la?

If I could count the happy days it would be easy.
But first you gotta be able to count something that amounts to zero.

Sometimes to be a man you just gotta shove those rocks into your mouth and chew them.

End of days...

...I want to go home and be with You Lord...

I know it sounds wrong, but You know Lord... only You know... only You...

If...

...you can't point everyone to Jesus, then just point someone.

Don't have to be a super star, to get everyone's attention; just be a star among a crowd to a lonely person. It is easy to love a person that everyone loves, but to show love to one that shys from others is a breakthrough.

Quotemaster....

YEAHH.. I'm the quotemaster... HAHAHAHAHA...

Conversation with 2 old friends drew the gila monster out of me.

不是没人要,而是人没要。
"The real issue isn't bo lang ai, it is lang bo ai."

我像油煎的冰淇淋;热在外,冷在内。
"I'm like fried ice cream. Hot on the outside, cool on the inside."

=D

Kayu NOT Opening!

...until end of September...

Hahaha... at the rate they are going, I think they'd open just in time for Malaysian sportsppl when they come over for Commonwealth Games.

Anyone wanna get tickets for Commonwealth Games opening? Anyone knows how to go about it? Group tickets only I think... So how so how? I wanna watch badminton matches when Msia plays... any takers??

Anyway... it's funny how 2 persons I know got chocolate on their clothings watching Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The chocolate definitely wasn't the one they brought in. Now, this is what I call GOOD movie fx, it jumps out at you.

FEAST YOUR EYES!

Due to popular demand by one person.

Oh BTW, Tommy E isn't performing in Melbourne this year. But performing in other parts of Victoria like Warnumbool, Bendigo, Ballarat, Geelong, Shepparton...

Crap the degrades your blog...

Quotes you should not use:

"I finally discovered why most ppl would rather do wrong than right. Cos it's healthier for your self esteem to do the wrong thing right than to do the right thing wrong."

"This tastes like shit, particular the one I dumped last Wednesday."

"I'm like fried ice-cream. Hot on the outside, cool in the inside"

Forsaken?

The cry of my heart to You tonight is -
Lord, have You forgotten me?
How long more do I have to go through this?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So close, so close to You
My days pass like the morning dew
Bearing fruit 'cos I'm hooked onto You
So close to You
And when I think of the times where You draw me near
I am changed by heaven's grace and Your light
And all Your purposes plans for my life becomes clear
You give me eyes that see with Jesus' sight
So close, so close to You
My Saviour's heart pierced my heart through
Seeing mercy from Your point of view
So close to You
And as our hearts beat together the fire grows
Revelation floods me like a light
I know justice and help for the widowed and poor
Is part of changing my world with Your light
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Jeremiah 31:3 -
I have loved you with and everlasting love,
And I have drawn you with my loving-kindness.

If this is Your desire Lord, help me make it mine.
Less of me, more of You.

Appeal...

In view of the rising petrol prices, which skyrocketed to 1.3x today, I'd like to appeal to anyone that shops over 30 dollars at Safeway or Coles to pass me you petrol discount dockets if no one has asked you for it and you're not gonna use it for anything else.

Actually, I don't consider it an appeal la, if you have it just pass it to me. You don't have a choice. Hahaha.

McD's coupons are still collectibles too.

I've found out how I can pop up the MSN contact list without double-clicking on that lil guy. Installed a program called PS Tray Factory that allows me to bind a key to simulate a double click on any of the system tram icons. Cool. I just gotta press WinKey + Z for that to happen now. I'll use either Alt-F4 or click on the X to close it. Still think it should be a built-in function for MSN. GO ICQ!

Why I Prefer ICQ...

...over MSN.

MSN messenger is really nice with all the extras and looks but somehow lacks some functionality that makes life easier. (Hmmm... sounds like a MAC doesn't it????)

Here are some reasons why ICQ is far more efficient as an instant messenger (until MSN comes up with these features).

1) Offline message. It's like leaving your wife a note on the fridge. With MSN you can't, it's like asking your wife to stand next to the fridge if you wanna leave her a message. Pffft.

2) Send multiple files at once, unlike MSN, one at a time.

3) Can pop-up the client anytime I want, with a Ctrl-A (to see who's online), and Ctrl-A again to drop it back down. MSN gotta double click on the lil guy to pop the program up, and click on the X to close it. MAFAN.

4) Invisible mode, invisible to individual person. (Avoiding that stalker girl was much easier). Can impress a girl by putting her on ur visible list. Can still chat with other ppl that you make yourself visible to. MSN appear offline, is virtually offline. You can only look at others log on and off. It's like being tied down to a chair blindfolded and gagged, facing a lift, and watching ppl go in and out.

5) Can choose to pop up msgs when I want, and not have it pop up on the taskbar like a fren that walks into your room without knocking first. I make the ICQ one really convenient by binding Ctrl-Z to it. Really cool.

6) Ppl say MSN is nicer bcos you can send by just pressing enter. Well, with MSN if you wanna type multiple lines you gotta press Ctrl-Enter. With ICQ you just press enter to go the next line, and when you wanna send, just press Tab --> Enter. Let's compare the keystrokes for both, we will be typing a message with 6 lines.

MSN :
(1)Ctrl-(2)Enter
(3)Ctrl-(4)Enter
(5)Ctrl-(6)Enter
(7)Ctrl-(8)Enter
(9)Ctrl-(10)Enter
(11)Enter
Total = 11

ICQ :
(1)Enter
(2)Enter
(3)Enter
(4)Enter
(5)Enter
(6)Tab-(7)Enter
Total = 7

7) Wanna unhide offline users for ICQ? Click on the unhide button on the top. Wanna unhide for MSN? Scroll down the heaps of nicks dat are N/A, BRB, On The Phone, Out To Lunch.. n click on the +. So mafan!

8) Simple away messages dat can be customized. On MSN, how many of you have to put yourself as Out To Lunch when you're actually having your dinner at home?

And ya, don't use the new ICQ versions la... get the old trusty ICQ Pro 2003b. No problems so far, works like a charm. Minimal extras.
