Halloweenathon

The month of October is my favorite. That's big, because it's not a summer month. I love summer, and more or less hate winter. But B's birthday is in October, so it's a double-fun thing. His birthday parties double up as Halloween parties. The problem is that we have a lot of his friends over, and I don't know what a lot of them look like without costumes.

I don't know what happened this year. I cared a lot less about decorating. Half of my spooky stuff stayed in the tubs. I didn't sew anything. I didn't mold any fake body parts. I think I reached Halloween critical mass.
The kids thought we were hilarious and promptly dug out their own goofy costumes.
We got a couple of ideas, tried on some stuff.

Some disguises were improvised...

And played with Glowy stuff.

But then, the actual party crept up on me. We sent out invites to B's whole class and a few more, and about 20 kids came. The party rocked, if I may say so.

We turned the garage room into a haunted house and the kids made slime and played games. B had an awesome birthday. In fact, he had so much fun, I never got a picture of his Assassin costume. And if I did, it's on the camera I can't find.

"Why are you taking my picture again?"
Dear W, please stop singing "crazy train." Thanks.
At last, the alien hive queen, in character. She comes in peace. (Yeah, right. Yep, that's a pink sword.)
