Family Pictures

McKall was not having a good time at all, but the picture turned out so cute!

This is our whole family and I really tried to hide my baby pooch with out being to obvious!

We are so glad to have our family pictures done it was much needed, the last time we did family pictures was when Dannika was a month old! No worries she is now 8!!!

My friend Nemiha took them for us and she did a great job.

It was so cold by the end of it we all had red noses, poor little McKall did not want to do pictures anyways and then she got really cold and just cried! Dannika and Payton were troopers through the cold and we will for sure try and do better with getting pictures done! Especially since now we have our little one on the way!

Thank you Nemiha for the great pictures we love them and will probably do them again once we have our baby!!!

Provo Balloon Festival

McKall was very interested in Ronald McDonald at McDonalds!

So the day before the fourth of July my sister, Kelli and I decided to take the kids to the balloon festival in Provo.

As kids Kelli and I remember going with our neighbors The Johnson's up to Park City for their balloon festival it was the coolest thing!

So I get up and I went to her house around 6:30am to help her get the kids ready to go, because they stayed the night at her house, we left the house her house around 7 and by the time we got there all of the balloons had already taken off. The kids were good sports to look at them in the sky! Then they come over the intercom, "Due to weather the balloons are not going to make it back to the field due to the pressure change." Really the wind wasn't even blowing.

We decided to take the kids to breakfast at McDonalds and let them run around, McKall was not quite sure what to think of the Ronald statue, but took a picture with it anyways!

On the way back to the car Dannika said "Maybe next year we can come really early so we can see the balloons closer!"

I feel so bad that we missed the balloons, but it was still fun for the kids to see them and I think we have found our new July tradition!

STRAWBERRIES AND CREAM

A couple weekends ago we went to Pleasant Groves Strawberry Days. Tyler is from Pleasant Grove and we have wanted to go to the Rodeo since we got married, so this year we went with some great friends!

We met our friends Taylor and Kristen there got some dinner and of course Strawberries and Cream! It is our favorite I think Tyler and Taylor each had 3 cups, Kristen and I stuck with one, but shared some off of the boys!

We had so much fun watching the rodeo I haven't been to one in years, and we even saw some records be broken! I really don't like the cattle roping I think it is kind of sad, but I love it when the little kids came out riding the sheep they were so cute!

We decided to make it a yearly tradition with Taylor and Kristen and I can't wait!!!

BIRTHDAY

For my birthday Tyler surprised me with a weekend getaway to Park City, I kept giving him a hard time since I was turning 25 we should do something really fun and I wanted him to plan it. We had a great time, we ate at Loco Lizard Friday night went shopping all day Saturday then ate at Red Rock which is really good, then we decide to hit up a movie and saw Wolverine, Loved it. Then we left Sunday morning it was so fun!

I have such a loving husband who does so much for me and even though I give him such a hard time he is usually really good about planning things. He even brought up a really good red velvet birthday to eat!

After Park City we went to my moms for my family party.
Okay I am still learning and I couldn't figure out how to re-arrange my photos to the order I wanted, but oh well you get the idea of things!

I need to do better

I really thought that I could keep up with the blogging world but I am doing horrible!!! I have so many posts that I want to blog about like my birthday some of the fun crafts I am doing and thinking about selling, our new house and wonderful neighbors and of course what is going on with my wonderful family!
I am hoping things will slow down in the next couple weeks and I can post some of the fun things Tyler and I have been up too.
Last night we had Tylers cousin Bert and his fiance Amber come over for a BBQ and games, it is so fun to have a nice place for people to come over and do things, and to have room! After we had dinner Bert and Amber took us to Emmetts and Ethels for ice cream, it is on Lehi Main Street our neighbors said it was really good. We enjoyed it and we had a great time getting to know Bert and Amber better!

My family for easter every year for as long as I can remember we all go to breakfast with our whole extended family. We always meet at Coachman's, they have great breakfast! Then since we don't have my grandma around anymore we go to my moms. We have so much fun we go and give the kids there easter baskets then all the big kids go and hide the eggs for the younger ones. I am so glad the weather turned out this year so we could be outside. We broke out the jump ropes and started our tricks. We got everybody to try double dutch and I was the only one who could not do it, even my dad and seven year old niece did it. I have the pictures to prove it. After hanging out at my moms Tyler and I went to his parents for dinner. It was such a nice Easter I really enjoyed myself!!!

FYI: I am new to this and still not sure how this whole thing works and I am not a photographer!
