I was going through some of my older pictures and found these cute pics of Matthew. He loves to put anything and everything into the dishwasher. I have to unload the clean dishes, shut the door, rinse off the dirty dishes that are waiting to go in, and then load them in. If I leave the door open while I do the rinsing Matthew is able to empty out my entire extra utensil drawer into the dishwasher. I'm not always fast enough with the emptying part of it as you can see from the pictures. He can hear the door opening and he comes running. It's very cute. I cant wait until he's old enough to help unload it.

He also loves to help me sweep. Allison was the same when she was this age. I try to keep him distracted with his truck or tractor book. If I fail at keeping him distracted, he runs to get the dust pan and goes to where my pile of dirt is and tries to scoop it up. Again very cute, but his scoop usually sends the dirt clear across the floor. It's probably more of push, than a scoop.

When Allison was little I would let her hold the dust pan and I would help her hold it as I swept the dirt onto the dust pan. She loved it, when she saw me get the broom out, she would run to get the dust pan. The difference with her is that she would wait until I was done, then she would come running over to help pick it up. Matthew is in the pile before I have the whole floor swept, and I usually have to re-sweep a couple of areas.

Our little "Constellation"

Here is a little bit about us...

We'll do Kevin first. Busy, busy, busy. He has been studying for his career in Financial Advising. He has finally finished all his testing, and is very excited to be able to read for fun again. He will continue to work for my father until he gets too busy with his new career. He loves to go biking with his brother Jay. Skiing when its cold enough. Trying to pick up on golf again, after a decade long hiatus. I also keep him pretty busy at the house here with all my "honey-do" lists. He's also tying to get our yard in this year, so lots of tractor time. Right now, for our yard, we are going for the "natural" look. I think if you were to drive by, you would say we got it right on the nose.

I'll go next... I'm a stay at home mom, who thought staying home with your kids would be super easy. I could not have been more wrong. I only have two kids and can barely stay caught up. I play volleyball every tuesday and thursday, and that works great as a stress release. I also get to play softball with mom and megan during the summer, and that is a good time. I love to scrapbook, I've also picked up cake decorating. Maybe down the road, I'll show some of my cake pictures. I don't know what else to say, but I need to at least get to the bottom of my picture. I love playing with my kids, and of course my husband. We always look forward to the weekends when we don't have a lot planned, and we can just hang out at the house or go do what ever we want as a family. I finally made it to the bottom of my picture, yea!! I will now move onto more exciting things like my ever so adorable kids.

Sweet, sweet Allison. She is going to be 4 at the end of this month, the 25th to be exact. She is ever so excited to be 4. I think to her that means she is officially a "big girl". She is very shy, just like her mother, maybe even a little bit more. She is also stubborn, just like her mother, maybe even a little bit more. I actually think she gets the stubborn side from her father. (hee, hee, I love you honey). She is very helpful with Matthew. I love to watch the two interact. It's quite impressive to see how much she watches us, by watching her with Matthew. Allison loves to help mom make cakes. Next to Dad she is my biggest supporter. Mom loves to watch cake shows on the food network, Allison will be sitting there by my side looking for princess cakes. She will also ooh and ahh with me over the pretty cakes. It's very cute. She will be going to joy school this year and we are both very excited over that. I could go on and on about Allison, but to save you the reader some time, I will stop here for know, and move on to our last born.

Our busy body Matthew. He keeps us busy. Allison was an easy baby, and Matthew is an easy baby. We just have to worry more about what Matthew will get into, or what he will put in his mouth. Allison, we never had to worry. Matthew is all boy, and yet a very cuddly baby. He loves to do what his big sister is doing. He loves it so much that it drives his big sister crazy, cause he's always there. He loves to hit or kick anything that doesn't go his way, or anybody who doesn't give him what he wants. Matthew and his other cousins always seem to be hitting the other. We are hoping that they out grow that soon. Matthew is coming up on 18 mths. so that means nursery. His Dad couldn't be more excited. Dad has Matthew during church so that mom can fulfill her calling with the young women. Kevin and I both think he will do just fine in the nursery. He makes us laugh constantly. And like I said earlier, he keeps us on our toes.

This is us in a nut shell, actually since I know that my family will be reading this, this is us in front of the fire place, not actually in a nut shell (hee, hee, to the mansfield humor). I hope you enjoyed and hopefully it wasn't too long. It sure took long enough to write. This, as Kevin calls it, is our "Constellation". Pretty clever. (i'm going to try to turn this picture around. if it doesn't work, then just tilt you head to the right, and it will look as if I did turn it).
