It seems like a good time to update our blog (Should I keep calling it "our blog?" Micah never does anything with it.) Anyway, October was a great month- the weather was fabulous in Mount Pleasant, a little cool, but really just nice. (You might even say "pleasant!")
We had a wonderful time at the halloween party for the PT's. Most all of the first years were gone by midnight from this party and the second years stayed and partied all night long (they are a wild bunch!) I had a particularly fantastic costume--- as Makayla Maroney (you know- the gymnast from the summer olympics who got second place in the vault and then she was upset and made a sour-puss face on the winners stand.) Micah dressed up a James Bond (mainly because he bought a tux for 10$ at the second hand store a few years ago to wear to my sister's wedding. I did not let him wear it there, and he has wanted to wear it since. finially, he had a good enough reason.)

Other than that, we have been busy with work and school. Micah just finished up midterms last week and now is approaching the finish of the semester. He was at school all day today, and is back there again tonight. He tells me this will probably be the rest of the semester- doing days and nights at the lab. Fortunately, I have been having lots of night meetings, and rehearsals, so I have been gone a lot too--- I have not had much of a chance to miss him! I look forward to one day having normal work schedules- and maybe even a real weekend! (the hazards of working at a church!)
If you will, please pray that Micah is able to continue to focus and do well in his schoolwork. I'd love prayers for my job- Christmas time is always a busy time, and when you are at a new church- it comes with extra anxiety as I try to honor traditions of the past, while making room and expanding on what the congregation and I am truly gifted in.
I will say Goodnight with some pictures from the past month. Thanks for reading up on us!
