Our dentist would be so proud...

Easton and Mason have started brushing their own teeth.
Actually, it is more of just getting their hand and tooth brush wet and then sucking the water off and shaking their heads back and forth as fast as they can . And in the process getting water all over themselves, the counter, the mirror, the floor... you get the idea.
They now yell at me when I try to brush their teeth for them. But I think the yelling helps because their mouths are wide open and I can get it done really fast. I hate it when the close their lips tight and stick their tongue out and I have to try and force the tooth brush in there.
Also, I think I need a longer stool. They both try to fit on this little step stool we have and they end up pushing each other off. So, if anyone ever finds one that could fit two kids on it at the same time, let me know. Otherwise, I'm going to have to convince my brother to make me one.

Turning 5

Sleeping Beauty came to host Hailey's birthday party this year.
I told Hailey she was the real Princess Aurora that lived in Disneyland. She wasn't convinced and her response was "maybe we better go there and make sure." Hmm... she is a smart girl.

Sleeping Beauty read stories, sang songs, painted faces and helped the girls make crowns.

It was such a cute party and the girls had so much fun together.

Ever since Hailey turned 5 she has been checking the sizes on all of her clothes. She is convinced that none of the size 4 clothes fit anymore. So, I might have to go in there with a permanent marker and write a 5 on all of her clothes just to make it through the season.

The only down side of turning 5... shots. The night before I told Hailey that she had a doctors appointment the next day. She asked me if she had to get shots and when I told her yes she got really quiet. I asked her what was wrong and she said "I'm just trying really hard not to cry about the shots." It was so sad. But she was so brave the next day she went in and didn't cry at all.
