Run Away to Turtle Bay...

Sisters for life...
Kalani and Alii doing the hula...or atleast pretending too.

The beautiful sunset that day...

I sure do miss having my sis around.

Isn't that backround amazing!

When we were in high school...Kalani wanted to run away from home...so we jumped on the city bus and went all the way (3 miles) to Turtle Bay. WE had lots of adventures at Turtle Bay and one of them was taking pictures all dressed up together (we werea bout 16). We both wanted to get married at the little chapel on the beach (which I did) and always found it to be a refuge for us. So we revisited the spot that we took pictures all those years ago and tried to re create some of them. I thin of Kalani everytime I see the bustop at Turtle Bay or the Chapel!

More Kalani and Me...

Rosie's Cantina in Haleiwa is one of our old stomping grounds from High School and College. Kalani was dying for some fried ice cream and we even took a picture of it to prove to her friends in England that there is such a thing:-)
PCC Alii Luau
8th Ward Relief Society Christmas party. We had this activity where you ahd to blow up balloons, stuff them in a panty hose, then put it on someones head (Sis. Curnow middle) then sing a Christmas Carol. Whoever finished their song first won and it was us. It was hillrious!
Kalani and I went tothis ward when were were young and is where we first became friends. We have a lot of memories and it was nice to be back wiht some of our old fellow "young women".
We made Christmas ornaments and Iwas terrible. Kalani had to fix mine.

PCC & BYU...our old stomping grounds!

Maori Canoe.
Old fashioned polynesian fishing...
Kalani did not want to take this picture...but I insisted and Ithink she really wanted one but was pretending not to:-)
Byu Foyer...we did a quick tour of our old dorms and campus. Talk about walking down memory lane. We had good and bad memories here...but it was nice to come back and be here together... all grown up!

Karaoke and more Karaoke!

BBQ at the house with Alii and us.
Just hanging out at home singing Karaoke with good food and great friends.
Kalani s the Karaoke QUEEN...she is so good at entertaining that we would never need to leave the house again.
Chiko's with the three musketeers...it was ladies night out for Kalani and I to celebrate our Birthdays. We went to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner and then met up with Alii later to do whate else...KARAOKE.

All Kalani wanted to do was SING while in Hawaii. Of course I TOO love Karaoke so it was a match made in heaven:-)

More Paradise Cove...

Lee & I enjoying the beautiful scenery. We had never been to Paradise Cove before and had a pretty good time.

Lee hit the target dead on and Kalani was jealous so he decided to help her out and try to get her to at least hit the target...he wasn't succesfull:-)
We went to sing Karaoke after Paradise Cove. Let me tell you we were ALL exhausted after this day but it was one heck of a Birthday party.

Kalani's Birthday and our first night back together!

The first night Kalani got in, we went sang Karaoke in the living room until 2 am! We didn't even realize how late it was...our poor neighbors! It was hillarious and I miss her so much all ready.
Today was Kalani's birthday and Lee's brother, Robert's as well. So we all headed to Aloha Tower to Gordon Bierch's to have lunch. We had a really nice lunch and had to take Robert home but then headed on to PARADISE COVE!
Kalani & I with the sun setting behind us in to the waters off of Waianae Coast.
After 10 years apart, my best friend and I were able to reunite for a week of fun!
This was a beautiful shot!
WE were pulled up to do the HULA...hahaha.

All three of us at Paradise cove for Kalani's 31st Birthday.

Savannah's 4th Birthday!

I still can't believe that she's four...going on 16. According to her mother, Savannah is quite the independent little girl. She turns 5 next summer and we can't WAIT to bring her to Hawaii and spend a birthday with her!
Savannah and Tampa!
Look at that smile...she was born to be a star!

Savannah at Dinasour Park

Savannah and her best friend Tampa...seeing as both of them were named after cities, they were meant to be best friends:-)
Isn't she adorable?!
These two are the SAME AGE...Savannah is definitely going to be a tall young lady!

For Dad's Birthday we all got together, as usual, at Scott's house to have a BBQ.

He's such a good Hubby...standing out on ht eheat cooking while the rest of us are lounging in the central air consitioned house.
Sco, Jo and Jordy watching Dad blow out the candles.
Dad sneaking a piece of pie before dinner started...
