Savannah's Party Videos

These girls are so fun and these videos just crack me up!
These are priceless and I can't wait to show them to Savannah's fiance one day;P
Sorry for the sideways video but took it with my regular camera and can't figure out how to rotate it:) Im so not used to being int he videos as Im always taking them so of course I analyzed all my flaws and cringed through the whole thing...but as I tell everyone else Itorture by taking pics and video of them "in ten years you are going to look back on these pictures and say HEY I look great"! So I posted the video anyways!

Hannah Montana Birthday Party!

Since Savannah was not going to be in Hawaii for her Birthday this year, I threw her a birthday party a little early:)
I wanted to do a princess or hello kitty party but alas she has grown out of that phase and convinced me to do a HANNAH MONTANA party;)
These girls were a bunch of party animals!!! They danced and sang and definitely lived up to the "rock star" theme!
My little local girl...these last 10 months of living in Hawaii have definitely made an impact on her:)
We decorated cupcakes and then had them eat them outside to keep Kayla from going into sugar shock from all the crumbs on the floor!
We had so much fun and there Savannah was in HEAVEN!
They were watchign the Hannah Montana concert and dancing along...I love Savannahs pose here!
We had super cute decorations and the girls loved the hats!
Olivia and Makenna decorating cupcakes!
Mercel and Edyn:)

Kalisi and Whitney...
Our cute decorations...super easy and cheap (love price busters)
I threw this one in because Savannahs face was so funny in this shot!
The boys stayed in Savannahs room almost the whole time and were SO GOOD.  Of course bribing them with pizza, candy, cupcakes and glow inthe dark necklaces didn't hurt:)

The party was a big hit and it was fun for me to be able to have all of Savannah's friends over to have a great time and creat some memories for her to remember all her friends in Hawaii.

Easter with the Johanson's

Had so much fun dying Easter Eggs with the Johansons:) I think Savannah would let them adopt her if we would! LOL Heck Id let them adopt ME!
I love that Savannah has best friends right next door...
These tie-dye eggs were a little difficult to work with but very cool looking!
My sweet Brinney-Boo coloring an egg with a marker!
Katesy Lou (nickname that I just think is adorable) was just discovering the roll over and she was showing Aunty Mibi how good she's gettin!
Each girl had a different color to find (totally cute idea) so Savannah was orange.
Brinnley's eggs were in easy to find places but she would get so excited when she found one.
There was an egg hidden in the Soge plant which is very prickly and they were not having fun trying to get it...yet it didn't stop them from trying!
Couldn't get a picture with all of them looking but this was as close as I could get.
These girls are such characters!!!  I just love how much fun they have together!
We had an awesoem Easter with them and am so grateful for always being included in their holiday plans.  It really does feel like I have family next door and I wouldn't change it for the WORLD!

Saturday with Oma and Apa

Savannah and I cruising in the back seat of Oma and Apa's rental car...we went shopping, had lunch and just spent time together.
Savannah is a camera happy little girl and she was taking these while I was out of the car...she's such a character!
There were tons of them but I just put the two funniest ones up;)
My Grandpa Chung's Birthday is April 30th, so we stopped by to pay hima nd my Grandma a visit...my Dad was weeding and cleaning of the headstone.
Savannah is such a good helper...
My parents are so cute!
My Mom just had cataract surgery, hence the weird sunglasses...but she was telling emt aht her Dad was in her dreams a lot the week before they came and then she realized it was close to his Birthday...so she had to come see her Dad!
I didn't know my grandparents very well because of the language barrier (they spoke Korean and my Grandmother was very ill and didnt even recognize us when we would visit) but I have a lot of memories of my Grandpa catching the bus from town and coming over to garden in our yard.  I'd come home from school and would find him weeding or pruning something...so Id bring him a drink and talk to him and he would nod and smile and pat me on the arm or back.  I was so young and didn't really understand that his time was short and wished that I could have gotten to know him better.  But I am grateful that I can get to know both of my Grandparents in the next life and that we are sealed together as a family.  What a blessing it is to know that your family is bound together for eternity!

Tori's Baptism

My parents were in town and took Savannah and I to TORI'S Baptism!  Had to get a pic of my new favorite pink dress;)
Tori and her Dad Nate...whom I've been friends with since Jr. High!
Savannah and Tori have been buddies since her first summer in Hawaii and they just LOVE spending time together:)
The whole family...Nate's Dad flew in for the the special day!
I just LOVE this picture...Tori is BEAMING and Des' face says it all...what a beautiful day for them both!
I just love these little angels!
I love Des so much...she has been my dearest friend here for the past three years and Im so grateful to be a part of her life:)  Who knew that I would gain a sister when she married Nate:D
My parents came with us and they really enjoyed themselves:D It's been a few years since the last gandchild baptism so they had forgotten how nice they are!  It was so nice for them to be able t spend time with Savannah and I.  They have really welcomed Savannah into their lives and Im so grateful to them for loving her and treating her as one of their own.  Not many people nowadays have that kind of unconditional love and Im blessed that my parents do:)

Kualoa Ranch with ASH!!!!!!!!!

My sweet friend Ashley was leaving the island (boo) so we had a girls day out before she left and went to Kualoa ranch and took their movie tram tour!
They had an old WW2 bunker filled with memorabilia of movies that had been filmed there and of course Pearl Harbor is my favorite:)
It was SOOOOOOOO beautiful!!!  I have driven by the Koolau montain ranges all my life but had never been back behind to see it up close and it was breath taking.  The pictures really dont do it justice!
Jurassic Park was filmed here and this is a tree stump that the kids hide under when the dinosaurs are chasing them;)
This is Godzilla's foot print that me and Ash posed for a picture in...we had tons more but Blogger is being fussy so I will post more later. But right before this picture, another family asked to take a picture of them and their 4 year old was telling their mom I NEED TO GO POTTY...and she was like ok after the picture honey...well Im in the middle of taking a picture and the little boy just could hold it and strating going pee right in the middle of the picture.  His parents were DYING and we were ROLLING laughing...they were so embarrassed and we reassured them that we had no problem with it.  OF COURSE i snapped a few pictures of it for htem and they were laughing so hard and talking about showing the picture to his prom date one day:)  Totally cute!
I will really miss Ashley...we met by pure chance and because so close so quickly...it was totally meant to be.  It's amazing how close you can get to someone in a few months but I will always love her for being such a  great friend to me...for being there for me, making me laugh ALOT and helping me get my house in order...Im a cleaning MACHINE now thanks to her:P  I love you ASH and cant wait for you and Eric to come back and visit us!!!!!!!!!
