Aubrey and Dagger

Never thought Brandon and I would be dog owners in a million years, but thus we are and our family loves him, now if he would never shed and never chew up stuff he would be even better. Its so funny when you will get down by him and he puts his paw on you, he wants to love and be loved too. How sweet. I have no clue who took these pictures either. My guess is Alli actually.

Bowling at fat cats!

Thanks to my friend Alisha for snapping this pic of us. We went last Saturday night with her and her kids to Fat Cats bowling alley, it was a lot of fun.

First day of kindergarten, 3rd grade and 8th grade!!

So Jayden and Aubrey were fine on their first day back to school and all excited! Alli, on the other hand was crying and yelling for me when I left this morning! It was sad, but our dog had followed Aubrey to school and the school called me when I was in Allis classroom with her, wanting me to come and get Dagger so I had to leave her there, I really hope she calmed down quick!! Love you Alli, you will do great!!

I lost my first tooth

She got impatient on the one where she is making the face, just couldn't help herself. She lost the tooth and then literally lost the tooth, so the tooth fairy can't come without finding a tooth so maybe on her second tooth we will keep better track of it.

Aubrey gets baptized and turns 8!!!

Aubrey is such a special girl and we are so impressed by her loving and kind spirit. She is an example to everyone she knows. She was so pure and clean and had such a beautiful countenance after getting baptized, we are so happy she decided to become a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We love you Aub.

We surprised her on her birthday by bringing her flowers and balloons to her school and then taking her to lunch. She was so shocked to see us, we took her to Brick Oven one of her favorite places.

Better late than never right......Christmas photos.

I probably would have posted about Christmas sooner if I hadn't lost my digital camera, thank goodness for camera phones, it has saved me on more than one occasion. Here is some pics from the day. I don't have any pics of me on here but Santa really spoiled me and surprised me with an ipod touch too. Thank you Santa. Love that big guy.

Santa brought everyone a new hunting game for the WII and here are Alli and Aub playing it. Jayden loves it too but I believe he was glued to Gorilla mountain still.

Alli didn't really ask for anything besides bubble tape and a little motorcycle which was out of the question the motorcycle that is so Santa thought she would love a kitchen since she loves helping mom cook. She did get the bubble tape too.

Aubrey wanted a camera but we decided she was still a bit to young, she also wanted a hoola hoop and she got that along with a pogo stick.I love this shot the best of her sporting her new gloves and scarf.

So Jayden got Gorilla mountain that he really wanted. We decided that he could have one little kid toy and the rest would be age appropriate.

Allis hernia surgery

Waiting was the worst part of the whole day. She had the surgery on January 14th and we had to be there @7:30 am. It was at UVRMC. She didn't get taken back for the procedure until about 10:30 am. She was only gone about 25 min to have the right inguinal hernia lapriscopically removed. After they brought her back her oxygen levels weren't that great so they had to put some oxygen on her. She cried some and said it hurt even though it didn't, it was just bothering her. We got home and set her on our bed and went to fix her some soup and she tried to get up and fell off the bed. She had some anasthesic that was like an epidural so she could not walk yet. That was weird for her and so when she could walk again she was so happy. She was running by midday on Friday and even said to me "look Mom I am running". I was very happy that she was doing so well so quickly. The evening of we took her to get ice cream and then up the canyon to look at Deer and Elk. We saw a lot of animals and even saw a cougar attack some Elk, well Brandon did through the binoculars. Glad to have the whole thing over and her two little scars are so tiny you would never know she had anything done. At the hospital they also gave her a little bag of stuff to keep her occupied and that was nice.
