Ethan and Mason's New Goals
The new LDS youth program for kids turning 8 this year and up is a program where they set goals to accomplish in 4 areas: physical, social, spiritual, and intellectual. Mason wanted his first goal to be to learn to run like his Dad so he set a goal to run a mile every day. He hasn't done it every single day, but has done it a few times. The first time he did it in 13 mins and the 2nd time him, Chad, and Ethan all did it in 12 minutes. FIX TIMES. During the run Ethan said he couldn't go anymore, but Mason told him - you can do it Ethan. Dig deep! Ethan did and finished the whole mile. I'm so proud of both of them! Ethan wanted to set a goal to learn to do something too. He said he wanted to learn to make rainbow cookies. We looked up a recipe and made them tonight. It took about 1.5 hours, but we both had a ton of fun. Logan even helped us the whole time too. I told Ethan what to do, but him and Logan did almost the whole thing themselves. They looked amazing and tasted delicious and Ethan was so proud of himself. He kept saying how much he loved doing it too! He's such a sweet boy and such a good cook! He said he wants to be a baker when he grows up! Next, he wants to learn to make rainbow popsicles.
