Everyone needs compassion
And love that never fails
Let mercy fall on me
When everyone needs forgiveness
Kindness of the Saviour
The Hope of the nation
Saviour, He can move the mountains
My God is mighty to save
He is mighty to save
Forever author of salvation
He rose and conquered the grave
Jesus conquered the grave
So take me as you find me
All my fears and failures
Fill my life again
I give my life to follow
Everything that i believe in
Now i surrender
Shine a light in and
let the whole world see
Singing, for the glory of the risen king
Jesus, Shine a light and
let the whole world see
Singing for the glory of the risen king

Posted SOME photos from London but those are credited to C. It took a damn long time to upload just 63 photos. Omg. I can't imagine how LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG I'll take to upload all of them. And I hafta develop some to bring to church for them to see.. Oh no. Took mostly sceneries lor. Don't know if the adults will know how to appreciate. -Like I know how to. Lols.-
Back in church after 2 weeks. I missed worship so much! Haha. Felt good today, though as usual, it got a sleepy somewhere in the middle. Bleh. And got to know some bad news.. Hmm. Shan't comment much. Just so sad.. =[
Grandmother is hospitalised again.. So worried. Hope she's doing fine now. Please pray for her health yeah? Thanks people..
Talking again some. At least it's progress. Life moves on.
And I seriously hope you will stop talking about it over and over again. It's getting a little irritating.

And yups, like many who had seen moi online, I'm back in Singapore. =]
Happy but yet, well.. I missed London acutely. Can you imagine just by living in the country for less than 48 hours, one can simply decide that it's actually fine to live there?! It's pretty incredible I must say. And that's what I did. All right, so I haven't seen what it will be like during winter time, but I guess, if I could have lived with the dreary weather that dampened my mood continuously for a week, I supposed long nights will be okay too. Not that it can kill my shopping mood. -starts to imagine about the long shopping stretch along Kensington High Street and Oxford Street-
Read today in yesterday's papers that the whole shopping stretch in Singapore is about 3+ km? But those are in shopping malls and one doesn't really go into every single shop - unless you are a shopaholic on a mission to leave everyone in your wake or during the Great Singapore Sale. In London the doors are open to people on the street. It's like you can be on a lunch break, but you saw this amazing shirt in H&M just across the street. You can just dash across, grab it and still make it for lunch. Without breaking a sweat. All right, maybe it's not THAT amazing, but I'd had preferred it that way. Less hassle. Oh and along the entire stretch, Gap, Zara, H&M, Topshop, Urban Outfitters, Jigsaw etc can repeat as many as 2 or 3 times. I have never seen so many of them in just one stretch. Add the fact that some of them are two storeys stores. Wow. And their sale - went to a FCUK one [C was disappointed with me for not getting much. Haha.], is REALLY a sale. Imagine getting 6 FCUK tops for just 20 pounds? or 3 jackets for 20 pounds? [NOTE: 1 pound is about 3 SGD] Good quality and not very out of season. Catch is - you gotta travel out of central London.
Shopping aside, London is actually made up of Central London [CL] and Greater London [GL]. CL is mainly where all the sightseeing venues are - Westminister Abbey, London Eye, Houses of Parliment, Tate Britain, Tate Modern, The British Museum, The National Galleries/Protraits Galleries etc; where you can catch almost [I feel] every other musicals in the world; where HISTORY is. Guess that is why I love the place so much. There is plenty to see and wonder. The buildings are not tall. The residential places are probably mostly old residential buildings but tastefully repaired/done up. Even if they are not historically old, [hopefully not] they still made the buildings look old. Haha. It's just brilliant everywhere. City of London [CoL], on the other hand, though was where London had all begun, is actually the city's financial area. Tall modern skyscapers and noisy streets. Admist the new, there is however the St Paul's Cathedral. Magnificant.
GL on the other hand, is VERY different from CL. It's very dull, quiet and looks a lot more dangerous than CL. Vandalism can be seen everywhere, less urbanised. But if I'm not wrong, that's where most of the locals live. Cheaper accomodations and such I supposed. Have nothing much to say 'cause I didn't visit much of it. Only looked through the glass of buses while travelling.
The weather was perfect during the first few days when I was there. The sun, clear blue sky and the breeze. It was splendid to walk in that kind of weather and so we did, on the second day there, when we walked from my aunt's place all the way to the Natural History Museum, the Science Museum and the Victoria and Albert Museum. Spent all the time there and then walked all the way to Harrods. Could have tried to walked back home if our legs were not already on the verge of breaking. We walked most of the time if we were traveling around Kensington. Buses can actually be a drag because they can be caught in jams. The funny thing about them? It seemed like the drivers can call any stop to be their last stop and then turned back. I don't know what's the reason for it but normally when the road is really jammed till like crazy, they will announced that the next stop is the last one and make everyone alight. Perhaps it will be faster that the passengers walk rather than taking the bus. Or if the road up ahead is jammed but yet nearer a stop, they will let the passengers alight there and then. Cool right?
Argh there are so many things I can just talk about London. But well it will never be the same if one hasn't stayed there. I didn't feel like a tourist there, even though I'm like sight-seeing almost everyday. Perhaps because I'm living with a resident there and doing a little of the daily routines Londoners do. Going to Tesco or Waitrose for groceries; seeing Odeon [their cinemas] everywhere; the post offices; the bus stops. I didn't just travel in a coach and be transported to all the fancy sightseeing places. The life there is so much more laid back and you'll see in hordes of tourists EVERYDAY and EVERYWHERE.
Oh we went to Kent too. Visited Canterbury Cathedral, Leeds Castle, saw the Dover Castle, weather was bad, so we didn't see the Dover Cliffs and had a boat ride down the Thames. =] Brilliant.
One conclusion - I'll go back there again. Definitely.
Will be uploading the pictures soon. Check the photo link which is located in "Me" sometime this week. =]

You said that it was sad? Why don't you ask yourself why things turned out that way? Why don't you look and see around you why things turned out that way? This is not an overnight occurrence. It was a long and arduous process.
You know what I'm truly sad about? That maybe things will really turned out the way WL has predicted. Because, it was not for the lack of trying but simply we have moved on with our lives.
Year-end trip? Let's just hope when we have stopped asking who will be going, there is time left for planning.
Yes, I am mad. Fuming perhaps. Rightly so? I don't know. Something just set me off. Vented in off just now, in a private post. I can't post it because names are disclosed to faciliate my writing and things are will get nastier than before if I did post them on the web.
So don't ask and meditate on life.

But it's the only saving grace to keep me on the internet. Haha. I've really got nothing much to do online liao. Nothing much for me to blog because.. Life's mundane now. No work - not that I've anything much to blog about that too. Numbers keep dwindling in my bank book. Sad. =p

Yays!!! First day of the YEAR where I don't have to report to work due to any public holidays. Not surprisingly, the day seemed to pass very fast when you have something to do in front of the computer. Haha. But all that are to be done are my Goong [Korean show], Heroes 3 and my occasional Pride. Can't wait for the person upload all the episodes before I leave for London. =
Anyway, about Goong. It's an alternative universe where by if Korea still has a monarchy.

present royal family (in the story that is).
So well, a long time ago, the royal prince's late grandfather arranged a marriage between the crown prince and the granddaughter of his best friend. Promised items were exchanged and passed down the family. Skip to the present, the present king is suffering from a certain illness, (he seemed pretty well, other then an occasional dizziness. =\) and that prompted the royal family to look into the crown prince's marriage.
Shin[Trust me, he's cuter when he smiles. Heh.]
ChaegyungChaegyung is your average manga girl. Cute, bright personality, and a little behind in her school work. She attended the same high school as the crown prince, Shin. So one day she accidentally overheard Shin proposing to his girlfriend, Hyorin. But he was rejected because she wanted to pursue her dream of becoming a reknown ballerina. Chaegyung accidentally announced her presence and ran away before the Shin got to know who she was.
Hyorin. As it turned out, she was the one who was going to be engaged to Shin. So how do this "commoner" get used to the rigid and staid palace life? With mayhem and laughter of course! And with the growing love from Shin. =] But let's not forget the love triangle/square. And scandals to overthrow the crown prince because the original crown prince, Yul, wants his position back. [His mother and him were kicked out of the palace when his father, the then crown prince, died. Oh, and he fell in love with Chaegyung. =\]
YulPersonally I think they make quite a cute couple. Shin, with his almost baby-like responses to Chaegyung's antics, is fun to watch. He may not know how to express his feelings very appropriately, but at least he's honest to what he feels and do exactly what he feels like doing. Some may think it's very bao dao but that's the only way he knows how to show his love and concern. Afterall, the palace may teach you everything but nothing in the game of love. Chaegyung, on the other hand knows everything about expressing her emotions. So she changed him. ALOT. And she's damn forgiving. Wah. Can't belive it man. As long as Shin treats her well or with concern like a husband, she'll turn back to him. Haha.
First time I like a Korean show so much. Heh. Perhaps 'cause it's like a Korean ou xiang ju. Nice storyline and cute acting. And without anyone crying like shit, though Shin did cry a few times, or anyone dying because of some terminal disease. It seemed that Korea TV has finally left that formula behind. But the last few episodes are a little messy I feel. First this and that, then this person had to leave, but in the end it seemed that other person had to leave. One problem hadn't been solved then another ensued. Wth! Haha. Just guessing though, 'cause I didn't have the subs when watching the last episode. =P Anyway, catch it soon if you can. =]
Shucks, is there like a max post of pictures per entry? This sucks.
Anyway, about my life. Hmm, nothing much going on. Wahaha. Just that I went cycling for two days consecutively. Surprisingly, I didn't get muscle cramps in my legs but in my shoulders and right arm. Wonder why. Bishan park is so ex. =[ Cheated my money. Could have spent the same amount of money for 4 hours in ECP. Bah. And I was cheated about the ECP outing too! Alot of juniors huh?! Haha. Oh well, it seem like it's a culture among us to pull out at the last minute.. I've gotten into not asking the reasons why because it's always not specific. But I'm sure they also didn't want that to happen. Ah well. Had more confidence when cycling in ECP, at least I was capable of making turns and going down/up the slopes without any mishaps. Haha. Oh, and navigating around the crowds. =] But still had trouble giving way to incoming bikes because we always turn to the same direction and hence, collision. =\
It was rather tiring at the end of the whole cycling trip. Bleh. So listless after the whole thing. haha. So out of shape. =p ... And why do I feel that there was something that was done with absolute "evil" intention? yi si qian qian leh. Haha. It's probably nothing much. Shall throw it away. Well, I pretty much enjoyed that day even though there was some disappointment. Wonder if there is any shop that rents floorball? I wanna play floorball!!
