Magnets!

Michael heard all my complaining about all the Office Depot and Walmart mistakes that I went thru for my wedding stuff, and for x-mas he totally surprised me with a sweet-o Cannon Printer. Sadly I haven't been able to get acquainted with it til now! When I went to go pick up some photo paper, I discovered (yes I discovered this, and no one else!) they not only had photo paper, but they had printable sticker paper AND printable magnetic paper! MAGNETIC PAPER!!! I flipped! I can now make my very own cutsie magnets! This is what I have come up with so far...

Easy-Peasy!

Eclipse....

Just in case you haven't see this yet....

I guess I'm gonna need to pull out the books again... I barely remember Eclipse...

My Bro T.

My Brother T.

I miss this kid. I can't wait til he comes back so we can play. He is one of the coolest people ever, and you wouldn't know it but he gives the best hugs... He can make you laugh, even if your not in the mood to laugh... Silly kid...

Isn't it weird, when we are young, that we can't stand each other, and wish they would just disappear? And now when they are gone its like the fun is too...?

6 Months!!!

Today is our 6 Month Anniversary! It seems like longer than that, probably because we dated for so long. At the same time I can't believe it has been 6 months! It is so nice being married, I never want to go back to being single. I will spare you all the sweet, mushy gooshy stuff, and show you how much I love my Mikey.

For my wonderful husband, that I love way too much, I am posting something that he wanted me to post....

TURKEY GUILLOTINE!!!

I'm sure after you watch this, you will either,

1. Show your husband and laugh
2. Be totally disgusted and stop reading my blog
3. Want to buy one of these arrow guillotines...

I think I'm a mixture of 1&2.

ps. Sorry if you are #2, please don't stop reading my blog. And sorry if you belong to PETA, because Turkeys were harmed in the making of this video...

Sorry, I can't talk about LAST NIGHT...

Yesterday Ro, was lucky enough to score 3 free tickets to a movie screening. So she calls me up, tells me about it, and I'm down, so is Amber(amber, you need a nickname, how 'bout Amb...?)

We all meet up and go the theater for the movie screening. I would tell you about the movie, but I signed a paper saying I wouldn't talk about it.(and right now I don't think I can afford to get sued by a huge movie company...)

BUT, I will tell you about the part Ro, Mo, and Amb played in last night's adventure.
So we get to the movie theater and stand in line, and there are people walking up and down the line shouting rules, like we can't have cell phones, or any type of device that could record anything. So we are standing in line and this guy(event worker) asks us a couple of questions, and then asked us if we would stay after and do an interview about the movie. We said yes with a somewhat straight face. (later Ro and I high-fived discreetly) So this event worker guy pulls us out of line and takes us into the theater (thru a security check, ie. metal detectors, and bag search) and gave us PRIMO seats! We sat there for about an hour, so we made friends with everyone around us and laughed...

The Movie finally starts and all I can say is that it was good. During the movie tho, there were guys in suits standing in the aisles with binoculars looking for possible bootleggers! CRAZY!
After the movie they handed out question-airs that we filled out, and the theater emptied, and Ro, Amb, and I got sorted out to the front of the theater for a group interview. The same event worker guy started asking questions and it was really fun to talk about what we thought about the movie, and what we would change and where we would change it, what was our favorite parts, and so on....

We left talking about the movie, and how now we will HAVE TO GO SEE IT when it does come out in theaters...

I have to admit this was my first movie screening. Are all of them this crazy on security? Are they all this fun? I LOVED it!

Scratchin' 'N Dentin'

I love going to the Scratch 'N Dent Center. Every time we go, its like a holiday to me. It's so nice to find things for you house at an affordable price.(most of the time) Michael found this really pretty entertainment center for $500, so (being the Scratch 'n Dent Center) we called over our sales rep.(yes he knows us by name, I can't help it, I love that place!) and asked what was wrong with it. He said it was just a return and there are a couple scratches on it.... So we sat there and looked at it for another half hour, trying to decide... The sales guy also said that if we took it with us today they would take off another 20%! So at that point Michael was in-love with it, and the 20% off took $100 off of the price. So I was like OK, $400 for a pretty entertainment center, is not bad. Especially when the one I have been eye-balling was $1500.

It looks soo pretty in the family room, it finally looks complete. I feel like a grown-up now... yeah I should have felt grown-up when we bought the house, or when we got married, or when it was my responsibility to clean up/feed Michael, but no, I had to wait for the entertainment center to feel grown-up...

The top part is suppose to just rest on top of the book-shelves, but the TV is too tall. So Michael made it so it floats above the TV. I think it looks way more expensive/better with the floaty-ness part. He is such a stud...
