So at her 4 Month check up, Iz got shots (that gave her a small temp the next day) and her ears pierced. Yes I know... she is only 4 months old, I'm mean. BUT this is how I figure...
1. She will not remember the trama of getting her ears pierced.
2. I could have given her the choice when she is older, but what little girl doesn't want her ears pierced?
3. I have read that the nerves in her ear lobes aren't fully developed yet, so it doesn't hurt as much. (I have no idea if that is true or not)
AND she handled it like a champ. She didn't like being held down, but as soon as we picked her up the crying stopped. (the shots were a different story...) not a happy camper after those mean shots...
The only down side (which is a lame down side) is that I didn't get to pick her first earings. She had some little gold dots that looks rather 'Old Lady' esk...
