Bompa Knew Aidan Would Love That!

I flew down to Vegas on Wednesday night to help my parents downsize their home. (they are going on a mission and finally all of the kids have officially moved out) As we were going through things they found MANY things that Aidan would just LOVE. Here are the two favorites. The doll house became an immediate home for the Lego Dudes, although I am said to say the doll house is up for sell, just don't tell Madisyn or Adian.

The Fire Engine was an even BIGGER hit since it moved and made noises all from the controller. So many treasures, and yes Bompa was right Adian loved that.

His Favorite is the Balance Beam

Probably because he walks on the back of my furniture in the family room, but Aidan LOVES the balance beam. He excels at balance. The other tricks he is ok, but he has the beam down. He also loves that I stay and watch his entire class, even when he goes to the big gym.

Valentines

Our Family loves Valentines. Mike sent flowers and I loved them, he gave Madisyn a beautiful necklace, Aidan Legos and we gave him Blue Ray Discs for his new Blue Ray player. Sherlock Holmes and The Borne Trilogy.

Mike got Aidan Jango Fet from StarWars Legos. They were a HUGE hit, but lately ANYTHING Lego is a huge hit with Aidan.

This is Aidan in his wonderful Valentines from his friends at school. Even the teachers went all out this year with Valentines and treats for the kids.

Nicole wore her cute Minnie Mouse shirt that Michelle gave her for her birthday, I just had to take a picture because she just looked sooo... cute.

Nicole Turns One

My youngest is ONE! She is walking but still prefers to crawl because it is faster. We had her little party at Michelle's house with the McDonald family. She reacted perfect to every gift.

How Cute!!

Nicole loves Mike and I's iPhones so we got her the play version and she loved it.

We got a bouncing turtle because I missed this toy with Aidan and thought our house needed one. I think Nicole agrees.

I think Aidan agrees too. He played on it more then she did.

Nana and Bompa sent this cute little music/phone/laptop table and Nicole loved it.

Juli put together a scrapbook of Nicole's first year. It was wonderful to look at how much she has grown and so nice of Juli to put in that time.

Look at that face, she loved her cake. Chocolate is her favorite.

I almost missed the picture of the cake, but here it is, with only one piece missing. :)

If I Smile Cute Maybe She Won't Say No...

Nicole LOVES my bathroom drawers. She loves just pulling everything out, and then getting in under the sink and doing the same thing. Once Mike found her all of the way inside under the sink. I should probably get madder at her, but I think it is kind of cute and it keeps her entertained while I shower.

All Put Back Together

It truly is a little miracle in our family that Madisyn has complete feeling in both of her finger tips. Today was our last appointment with the plastic surgeon, and he is pleased at how well the fingers and the nails came together.

Madisyn is just excited that she has the OK to paint her nails now.

Nicole and the Bumbo

Lately the Bumbo has become Nicole's favorite playground. She climbs in and out of it with ease (well sometimes she gets stuck) Once she is in she sits and just kicks her legs up and down, with a huge grin and a crinkled nose.

Why Chicken Dinner WHY, and 2 Hours How MANY Rides?

So whenever Jenni goes to Anaheim she HAS to eat the Knott's Berry Farm Chicken Dinner. So this time we all went at lunch time on Friday opting to leave Disney and drive to Knott's to eat lunch. This LUNCH turned into a 2 hour CRAZYNESS. From trying to control my 3 kids, to the kids dumping water on poor Tristan who ended up at the end of the table with all of the kids. I threw my napkin to help, and knocked over not one but two more glasses on top of Tristan and on my kids. It was HORRIBLE, I really don't think Chicken Dinner was worth that craziness, but then we headed back to the park for 2 hours of HOW MANY RIDES CAN YOU RIDE, and I thought it was pretty fun.

We gave ourselves TWO hours to ride as many rides as we could during the busiest time of the day at Disney. So why I don't know we headed to Haunted Mansion, too long of a ride, and it was super crowded because the ride had stopped or broken down, but the elevators kept sending people down, IT WAS CRAZY.

After that we RAN with all the kids and the stroller to Fantasy Land and rode all of the rides there minus Peter Pan. Then ended with Small World. We ended up riding 7 rides in 2 hours, and with our bad start at Haunted Mansion, I know we will beat that next time.

How tired does she look? :) What a trooper she hung in there great.

We even got to watch the fireworks which is a treat for me and the family, because usually we are catching our plane. They were fantastic and everytime I think about our Winning Talent show number 4 years ago.

Uncle Tristan + Disneyland = Laughs!!

For Uncle Tristan's Birthday my family, my parents and Max and Jenni's family met up at Disneyland for 3 days of fun and lots and lots of laughs.

Tristan was set on riding ALL rides in the park NOW and Jenni, and my family were just hanging out enjoying ice cream, and treats. At one point in the trip Tristan had a little come to the family talk and reprimanded us for going SOOO... slow.

World of Color was on our to do list and so we had the world of color picnic so we could get our fast passes into the world of color. Because of the little Radio Disney sing along concert the organization of letting people in was a little crazy, and we lucked out as usual and we were in the right place at the right time. We had to sit for an hour, but to be up against the rail was well worth it.

Bompa was too nice and got Aidan's and Madisyn's face painted. THEY loved it, since mean mommy would never let them get their face painted before. We tried to keep the face paint even on till the next day, although I think their faces just looked dirty. Madisyn got hearts and Aidan got a snake.

Nicole was wondering where her face paint was. But Bompa's love is all she needs, well and maybe some yummy treats.

Tristan and Kai on Screamer, and Max is in the picture too.

Tristan wanted us all to pose like super heros. Well a few of us did. Happy Birthday little bro.

At one point I walked over to my Mom and Jenni with Nicole on my hip and said "Who has Nicole?" Yes everyone laughed at me again, but 3 kids in Disney without a Husband makes you a little scatter brained.

I loved the green army dude. Aidan normally WILL NOT pose with characters but the green army dude talked legos with him, because of his shirt and won his little heart.

Before Disney we went to Huntington, as I have blogged MANY times my favorite place. The kids played in the sand again and ran up and down the stairs playing Batman and Robin.

Here are some fighting moves they were showing off on the steps. Nicole SO MUCH wanted to be part of the action.
