Lucy loves getting together with all the cousins. She was ahving fun handing presents to all the other kids.

We had a combined party for Lucy and Anna on Sunday. They both got these carts from Grandma Mathis. It has been the best toy we have had! So many things to entertain her all in one package! Thanks Grandma!

We only had one day at home after the hospital before her birthday. I'm just glad we weren't in the hospital for her birthday. You can still kinda see the dark eyes and peely skin, but she's doing better. She had fun playing in her cake, but didn't really like getting messy. She got a doll, some finger puppets, and a book for her birthday.

So after we went to Gradner Village on Friday, I called the Dr. and took Lucy in later that afternoon. She was very lethargic and her face was really gray around her eyes and nose and mouth. She looked REALLY bad. Her pediatrition did some tests but couldn't tell what was going on, so she said to come back tomorrow if it looked worse. It was worse so we went back, and they told us we'd better take her up to Primary Children's Emergency. So we drove her up to the U and they got her checked in. She got looked at by about a half a dozen doctors and had about the same amount of tests done. She was sure a trooper. She just let them do their thing.

Almost a year old! Can you believe it!?

Lucy has so much fun in the tub. She gets mad when I have to get her out.

We met up with some of Mike's family at the gateway mall for lunch and some shopping.


After lunch we went to the fountains and Lucy liked the splashing so much we stripped her down and let her play.


She was hillarious! She would crawl right up to the spouts in the ground and almost got shot in the face a couple times.
