Emma's 1st Soccer Game

GO LADYBUGS!

Emma played defense and did a pretty good job!  The girls won!  Both of the girl's second game is Sat., Sept., 20.  They're games are at the same time so Dave and I will have to divide and conquer.

Emma's 7th Birthday

Emma turned 7 on Sept. 8th.  Emma asked for everything under the sun.  We settled for a few outfits and a "BioCam".  I think mom is loving the "BioCam" just as much!  It's like a magnifier (400X's) the lets you take pictures of it.  Pretty cool stuff.

Em wanted a few of her friends to spend the night.  This was her very first sleep over.  The girls party harty'd until they couldn't take it anymore.

The "Wild Things"

This was Ava's very first soccer game.  She had a hard time the first quarter.  She said she was too nervous to get out there and play.  So, what is one to do?  Well, bribe her, of course.  She got out there and played.  Every time a play was completed, she would come running to me on the sidelines and give me a reassuring hug. We are proud of her.  She even kicked the ball a couple of times during the game.  Oh, and she got her "make-up" afterward.

Next time we will post Em's birthday.  She turned seven and had a couple of girlfriends sleep overnight.  This was her first sleep over!

First Day of School

We transferred Emma from her home campus to another campus so she could be bussed after school to the school I work at.  She says she loves to ride the bus and seems to have taken the change very well.  Emma is not hard to please.  Ava is still at her pre-school and keeps saying how much she wishes she were at Emma's school.  I think it will be a lot harder for Dave and I to accept that both the girls will be in "big girl" school next year.

Em and Ava Get a Haircut

This time Ava wanted bangs.  I think she looks cute.  I call her my fashionista.

I've got 'ya covered sis!

You have to capture when siblings are loving each other!  I went into the living room and saw Emma covering Ava.  She went to great lengths to make sure Ava had a good nap.  I asked Emma, "What are you doing, honey?" She replied, "Mom, I wanted Ava to be comfortable...I love her."

Wolf Creek Vacation. We had such a good time. Mom and dad went with us. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time with my dad.
