Ice Skating with the Scouts

Great-Grandma's Visit

We celebrated Christmas with Great-Grandma Maki. The boys loved seeing her and they definitely kept her entertained.

Jaxson was full of kisses for Great-Grandma. Cameron plopped himself next to her and got her help with his seek and find book.

Breakfast with Santa

Cameron sat on Santa's lap long enough for mommy to get a picture. Jaxson was yet again terrified of the strange man with a huge white beard.

Landon made sure he took the time to tell Santa what he would like for Christmas.

The Primary children acted out the nativity at our Breakfast with Santa activity. Brayden was one of the three wisemen.

Landon's class had a Polar Express activity for the holiday. They made candy trains. Mommy was the lucky one who made all of the Royal Frosting for the trains - what a job! Jaxson wanted to help his big brother with his train, that is ... he wanted to eat it!

Candy break! At random time during their construction, Landon's teacher would yell, "STOP - time for a candy break!" I caught Landon having a few extra candy breaks during his work.

His train is complete and we all helped one way or another.

The Reindeer are Sick!

For a school project, Landon had to think of another form of transportation for Santa to deliver all of his packages on Christmas because his reindeer are sick. Landon had the great idea of a hot air balloon. So, with Daddy's help, they created a good looking hot air balloon for Santa.

Labor and Delivery Christmas Party

My work Christmas party. It was a night out for Josh and I as we cruised the Newport Harbor with my co-workers and enjoyed dinner, dancing, and lots of laughter and fun.

Many of the boats going through the harbor were all festively decorated with lights. It was beautiful.

It's a Lakers Christmas!

My Christmas present to Josh was a ticket to a Laker game with three of his buddies. He had to go showing his team spirit. They had a great time, especially since they beat the Jazz. Go Lakers!

We were bound to have one baby that didn't like Santa. Jaxson is the first, out of the four, to cry when seeing Santa for the first time. Shockingly, Cameron was also not too happy to be standing next to the jolly, red-suited man. :)

Brayden - 11 yrs old

Our big 6th grader! Starting junior high has been more of a adjustment for mommy than Brayden. We are so proud of him. He has begun the new school year on the right path. He enjoys his classes/teachers and is involved in the band again this year, moving from the trumpet onto the french horn. His drive continues on with sports, golf and soccer being the new ones at the present time. He loves being busy and active outside with his friends, especially with his daddy. He is an avid Angels Fan and is supporting his team with hopes of the playoffs in mind. He also loves playing the WII. Brayden is definitely our competetive one! We love his competitiveness and determination.

Landon - 9 yrs old

Landon is in 4th grade now and has not only made the transition into the upper grade, but also with attending a new school. It's been an adjustment for him with challenges along the way, but he has a great attitude and is doing well. Playing baseball, hanging out with his friends, riding skateboards and jumping bikes off of ramps and curbs are on Landon's hobby list. Oh, and don't leave snacking off the list. :) He is our tough, yet sensitive one. When you need a hug, you can count on Landon.

Cameron - 6 yrs old

Jaxson - 3 yrs old

Those big blue eyes and dimpled cheeks melt our hearts. He just started preschool and is absolutely loving it. He gets his backpack and clothes prepared the day before school :) Jaxson is taking after his brother Landon. He is a comedian and acts gooney just like Landon did at a young age. He is also a big competitor like his big borther Brayden. He is awesome at baseball and can't wait to play. He loves any outdoor activity and has amazing energy. He always has a smile on his. He is so fun and he loves all of the attention he gets from his brothers and Papa. His happiness is contagious to all who are around him.He is a joy in our lives and mommy's buddy.

Megan - 1 yr old

She has been the highlight of our lives this past year. We are all enjoying the many new things she is doing. She is growing way too fast. She is such a good baby. Her cheeks, thighs, and buddha belly prove she is a great eater. She is a snuggler and a cuddler. All you have to do is look at her and she smiles. She has a voice and she loves to babble. Her knew sound is ba-ba-ba and, of course, da-da-da. She gets everything she can get to and is everywhere. She is walking and trying to be a climber. It is so fun watching her walk around with a baby doll in one arm and a litle purse in the other. She just has two teeth. She is definitely loved and spoiled by mommy and daddy, but also by her big brothers. They have given her the nicknames "pretty girl" and "Megs". She lights up when she sees them.
