Scrappy Times

Shirley has asked us to use a sketch of our own choosing for our project.

I was taking the train home but there was a delay of FOUR HOURS! Also, my tablet died about two hours in and for some reason I couldn't recharge from the plug-ins at the train station. When I finally got on the train, I was able to plug in.  My car was fairly full but when we pulled into the next station, almost EVERYONE got off!  There were only 3 people in my car, myself, a mom and her little girl. Then they got off at the stop before me....I was all alone.... It was like being in the twilight zone! (there were other people in the other cars, just mine was empty). 

I used this sketch from PageMaps. I used one long photo instead of three.

Family and friends at mom and dad's 60th anniversary party. (not immediate family - those photos are on another layout).

This was scraplifted from a layout done by Jennifer Smith. It is pretty much exactly the same except I made the bottom row of photos the same size as the top row. An excellent way to include lots of photos.  I added the names of the guests onto the photos using Photoshop Elements.
