Waiting Game
Well, now that Christmas is over we feel that the baby would be find coming. Today are our 38 week appointment, the doctor said I was dialated to a 2 and 60-70% effaced. So we're getting there needless to say. The doc stripped by membranes to see if that would do anything and it hasn't done a whole lot tonight. I've just been chilling with mom who is also here waiting for this little guy to come. I guess he's nice and comfy in his waterbed. Do you blame him?

Merry Christmas
Here are some more prego pictures. Mitch was being goofy when we took them that's why I look funny. We couldn't decide if black made my HUGE tummy look smaller so I'm putting them both us and you can choose. Everyone tells me I'm small but I feel big. Only 3 weeks left. We are getting so excited to have him.
On another note, mom and dad get here today. We are stoked to be spending Christmas with them even though they're coming to take their piano. We are proud of our parents who have served faithfully on their mission for the past year and a half.
Another quick note: we got a home phone too. The new number is (208) 629-4469. Have a Merry Christmas friends and family!

Thanksgiving
I have been thinking a lot lately about all of the wonderful blessings that Mitch and I have been given. For FHE last week we each made a list of 100 things we were thankful for. I was so glad I did this because I was reminded of what truly great things we have. We have all of our needs met in this life with full cupboards and the means to pay our bills. I have had a great job for the past year and a half. Mitch and I both come from amazing families that have raised us in the gospel. I am just so grateful for what I have. MItch even made me think about the little things such as fingernails. There is so much to remember to be thankful for. It is all because of our God that we have these things. Have thankful I am to know him. We love you all and are grateful for love and friendship that you share with us.
Offisery
We finally got our crib mattress and sheets put on. We are almost ready for baby. I thought we'd include pictures of our offisery or nurfice. We can't decided which to call it. Mitch came up with those names since it will no longer just be his office but a nursery too. We love our crib and are getting so excited for this little bun to be done in the oven!

2nd Baby Shower
Of course on a fun day like yesterday I forget my camera. My good friend (and cousin) Tiffany Norris threw me a baby shower with all my good friends from Rexburg invited. It was so much fun to have them altogether. We were very blessed again to get an abundance of things for our little baby boy. I think we're just about ready for him to come. There are just a few more things we need. Basically just bottles, binkies, nail clippers, etc. It's the little things. As soon as we get a crib mattress I"ll post pictures of our cute little nursery/office (Mitch has to share). Thanks for everyone who came and for your friendship!!

Prego Carrie
So I was looking at pictures today and found one of when I was 22 weeks. At that point I thought I was huge!! But as I look at myself now I realize I had no idea what it was like. So I am posting two pictures: one at 22 weeks (the day we found out it's a boy) and todays at 30 weeks. People say I'm small for how far along I am. At least I'm bigger now than at 22 weeks. Keep growing baby!

1st Timer!
Well, we're followers of the crowd with creating a new blog. We thought we'd be like Shaun and Holly and give the family a way to stay in touch with what going on in our lives. What with mom and dad moving so far away and the Ririe's expecting their first grandson, we thought it would be a good idea. So, enjoy. I'll try to keep updated.
