APRIL - Only two months behind

I am loving nap time this summer. I've devoted it to getting on top of scrapping. I've also been able to squeeze in some treadmill running. I hope to get back to running marathons, at least half marathons. I find myself CRAVING that free feeling of running. Maybe I'm weird for feeling that way, but I know I have (weird) friends out there that would agree with me. Here is my April page if you'd like to look!

And it continues...

While I am coming to terms with the fact that I am NOT one of the super mothers that I know so many of, I still am trying my darnedest to keep up with documenting my families life. (I also just received the printed book of 2011 and LOVE it.) I also realize that girls care much more about photos and all that sentimental mumbo jumbo, so I want to keep it up for Claire too.

I'm being realistic though and know that the daily photo/weekly page is far too much to keep up with now that I have a baby and a 3 year old. (Note: I am NOT a super mother) I've decided to work month by month. I'll probably forget some things, but I'll forget a lot more if I don't do any pages at all. Let the scrapping begin! Our new little PRINCESS Claire

We've had a month to get to know our new little lady and it's very apparent that she is 100% girl. She likes things to be "just so" and loves to be snuggled (especially by her daddy). We are already smitten by her and her prissy ways.

Her first morning was beautiful. It snowed the entire night.

He loves her. Then and still does after one month!

I am a little obsessive about painting toenails. (Thanks to my friend Amy for her patience with Claire during this photo shoot. It was a nearly impossible task, but Amy is amazing.)
