well, it's official!! we heard a very strong heartbeat today. the little muffin will be "baked" by april 7th. we are very, very excited!

For Labor Day weekend we decided to do what we do best...go camping! First we went to Tombstone and had a great time people watching. Everyone was all duded up for "Gunfighter's Weekend". We camped there one night and then Cannon took me to his old stompin' grounds out in Portal, AZ. He worked there several years ago for the Forest Service. It was incredibly scenic. You'll notice one photo of a deer (with a blue bandana around it's neck)trying to pass as a pet dog. We were puzzled and amused at the sight of that fat, lazy deer sitting outside. Maybe he's getting fattened up for purposes unbeknownst to him...or maybe dogs just aren't as plentiful as deer are for making domesticated pets in Portal...
