Last Monday Matt and I celebrated our 2 year weddings anniversary! Really we celebrated all weekend, but our actual anniversary was on Monday. I am so lucky to be married to such an amazing man! I truly do not deserve him, but I am so glad that I tricked him into marrying me anyways. He is so kind and loving and I really could not ask for a better husband! I love him so much and I am so grateful that he is part of my life. Ok now that the mushy part is over....:)
So this was a very happy anniversary for me and Matt. As some of you already know Matt and I found out about a year ago that the chances of us biologically have a child was not very good. We immediately started looking into our options. After a lot of thought and prayer we decided that adoption was the right option for now (we both have always wanted to adopt) Well the only draw back at the time for us to adopt is that you have to be married for two years before you can turn in your papers.Well the two years has FINALLY come! We have already started the process through LDS Family Services. Although, we do have a lot of things that we need to do before we have our official profile we kinda wanted to let people know what is going on. We are SO excited and scared to start this next phase of our lives. I feel so blessed that this was such an easy decision for us. Don't get me wrong we have had our bad days, but we know that we will be able to add to our family we just have to go about it a different way. We know that our Heavenly Father knows what is best for us and we just need to be patient:)
So that is kinda what is going on with us right now. We really are excited and we are going to set up a blog and some other things, but I will let you all know about that as we get a little closer to having our papers and classes done. Thanks for all of your love and support!
