Round 4 at GDS Designer Contest

Well I made it round 4. I'm super excited and depressed at the same time. I did my kit but misread the deadline and missed it. But I submitted it to the play-along anyway so you can still download the kit. I'm not happy with the alpha so I will be redoing it before it goes in the store but the rest of the kit is awesome if I do say so myself. Enjoy and please let me know what you think. Happy Thanksgiving and GDS Designer Contest Round 3

First of All, HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!! to all my friends.

I was super happy to hear last Saturday that I had made it into Round 3 of the GDS Designers Contest. Our challenge this week was one I pray I never have to face again. Design with only a handful of CU items, no actions, no outside PS help. It was a challenge but I'm glad I did it. And I'm pretty pleased with what I came up with. I hope you like it. The name of the new kit is Sweet Dreams and it comes with a bonus Cluster Frame.

Round 2 GDS Designer Contest Kit and Freebie Add-On

Sorry to be so late loading this up but I kind of struggled a little with it. What to make, the bright colors, learning a new program...yes, I broke down and joined the Photoshop CS6 world, should it be realistic, doodles, the list goes on. But in the end I made it with 4 hours to spare. LOL!!!! I think it turned out pretty good.

I settled with a tropical beach theme. Going to Hawaii has long been on my bucket list and I'm happy to say that I'm almost there. When I think of Hawaii, I think of tropical plants, tiki mask, surfing, the hula dance, pretty little girly cocktails in coconut glasses, and the BEACH. I hope you all will enjoy it as much I did making it for you.

Designer Contest @ GDS and a Free Kit

I'm working my behind off redoing preview and loading kits in my new store but in the meantime I have to keep my fans happy so I've decided to do a Designer contest at goDigitalScrapbooking. The contest began Saturday by posting their palette and requirements and I finally got mine up today amid tons of interruptions. But that's what a loving family and awesome GS are good for. Anyway, here is what I need you to do. Go download my kit, enjoy it, make LOs with it and post them in the contest gallery as LOs made with our kits are eligible to win prizes too!!! Sorry I've been MIA for a couple of weeks. I've had to deal with some personal family issues which hopefully have been resolved and store drama at Berry Sweet Scraps.

If there is one thing that I can't stand it's DRAMA. And if there's one thing that I hate to deliver is bad news. So it saddens me that I have to share this with you. For reasons that do not involve me, Berry Sweet Scraps has closed it's door. I received an email one day that one of the owners was leaving the store and the next day it was closed. No explanations from the owner except what you can read at one of the smack forums and I don't read then. I want to apologize to those who did my challenge this month but did not receive their posting bonus. So I have decided to make the posting bonus a freebie for one week only on my blog.
On a brighter note, I also want to let you know that I have already found a new home and will be making announcements soon regarding my grand opening there.

So I was thinking how about an I Spy game at BSS, in the store, gallery, and forum....To make it a little easier I will tell you which area I'm looking at like gallery, whose store, etc. Some items I'm looking for may be your introduction in the forum or where you've introduced yourself to someone else. All easy task (remember I'm used to playing this with a 5 y/o so my clues are easy).

Berry Sweet Scraps Jounaling Challenge, Customer Appreciation Days and a Sale

Have I told you lately I'm having a Back to School Sale. LOL. If you are are like me you forget so....

So pleeeeze, drop by the store and pick up a kit or two and get scrapping on some of the challenges in the forum. Speaking of the forum, we will be having Customer Appreciation Days at BSS October 1-7 and there will be tons of fun going on.
