So maybe I'm in Europe again...

Bethany and I were told to meet my parents on the steps of Notre Dame... really?

Sandi and I inside the Louvre

Josh and I making fools of ourselves outSIDE of the Louvre

The Arch de Triumphe

We decided to take a day trip to Denmark, best decision ever.

We went on the Canal River Tour and saw Hans Christian Andersen's house (first white house on the right)

Meeting up with mission friends in Hamburg!

Our tour group that was hilARIOUS going through the Vatican and the Sistine Chapel.

Illegal shot of the ceiling. I was kneeling on the ground among the hoards of people in there trying to get a good, quick picture only to find a security gaurd standing RIGHT next to me with his little walkie talkie going off. Scared me to death, but totally worth it.

Seeing the colliseum, one of my favorite things we've seen so far.

The black sand beach in Ladispoli where we're staying and where the best gilato is to be found.
We're headed off to Greece today but we'll update again soon!
FYI: We survived the earthquake. All is well.
Ciao!

I Can Honestly Say...

This was the BEST night of my life. "Boyz II Men is back again". Thank you Boyz II Men. Thank you. Today (well yesterday, it's 3 in the morning) marks the month anniversary of my irreplacable experience at the Scera in Orem, Utah. Here are 10 reasons why I am a new woman today because of August 28, 2008:

10. 90's R&B is the sweet nectar from the gods.

9. Water Runs Dry. My heart stops beating for a good 7 seconds when I hear it.

8. Choreographed dancing? You serious??

7. They've lost their bass and they're still goin strong.

6. They're wearing suits. AMAZING.

5. Boyz II Men has the biggest Polynesian fan base I've ever seen and I thank them for that.

4. The concert was $10. In hind-sight, I would've paid..... more.

3. They rolled up in a white 15 passenger chevy.

2. Their voices are INSANE and I haven't been able to "say goodbye to yesterday". (you liked that didn't you?)

1. I've never been more jealous of front row in my entire life. I nearly rushed the stage.

(Don't mind my singing... I literally could NOT help it.)

I think at this point tears may have been shed... BECAUSE MY LUNGS WERE BLEEDING.

No picture will ever be able to capture the feelings we had that night. I have VOWED with myself two things. 1. Boyz II Men WILL be played at my wedding, and 2. If Boyz II Men ever performs again within a 250 mile radius of where I am, you can bet your bottom dollar Michelle Scott will be in attendance...

Victims of a terrorist attack...

One Sunday afternoon, my roommate Melissa and I were innocently preparing lunch when literal HELL broke loose. Melissa opened the oven, took out the pan, placed it on the stove top, took two steps backwards and BAM!

The 13x9 Pyrex pan we used LITERALLY exploded all over our kitchen! I was a few feet away when I witnessed the BOMB "x-men" around Melissa and she came out unscathed. Though I was walking around with a very small but prominent piece of glass in my foot for a week, the worst part about it all was that the food was unsalvagable. Another interesting thing is that APPARENTLY this "explosion" of Pyrex pans is actually not all that uncommon in the 13x9 pans! WARNING: Unless you would like to DIE, I suggest you NEVER use a 13x9 Pyrex pan again in your life. Here is the proof: (Please note the title of the article. It's so dramatic it's inspiring.) http://www.consumeraffairs.com/news04/2006/03/pyrex_panic.html May God speed as you all prepare your next dish...

Welcome to Berlin

So when your neighbor's trying to learn how to drive a stick shift, you might wanna mention that practicing somewhere like the church parking lot is a much better idea than their backyard. I am happy to announce the union of East and West Germany...

For all those who are curious, pieces of the wall are still available to purchase...

And thus ends my trip to Europe. I ended up changing my plans last minute and staying in England for another week. Absolutely brilliant idea! I would put pictures up from that week, but I feel like this is the longest post in the world so I won't... Nicole and her husband Chris are moving to Europe in September so I might just have more pictures of Europe in the near future. Ta-ra for now, luvs!
