Fore
This good looking group is playing in the Member Member at the club this weekend. We (the ladies) got to be included for dinner after they golfed on Saturday. Scott and Mark were headed into Sunday's round in 2nd place. Josh and Curtis...............not so much, but they sure have had fun. They claimed they were putting on their game faces today.Boy time
Myself and 4 boys headed to the lake Friday evening. Scott was in a golf tournament, so we headed down there for a little swimming, marshmellow roasting, fishing and relaxing. Ok, so there really is no such thing as relaxing with an 8 yr old and 3 11 yr olds at the lake, but we still had a good time.
Cutie Pie
I got to watch this little cutie the other night while her mom sat at her older brother's HOT baseball game. Believe it or not, I had nothing on the calendar that night. I actually thought I did, took Mitch to Football practice, only to find out that I was only 2 weeks early!! I guess I just couldn't do nothing, so I called Rachael to see if I could have Addie for a couple of hours. She was so good, and her mom actually got to watch the whole game that way.Mitch was pretty excited to have her over as well.

The good news is..........
Dr. K was able to use glue, instead of a couple of stitches to fix Grant's lip. The bad news, was since we were already at the doctor's office, Grant had to go ahead and get his shots that were due before school starts.
I received a call from Grant this afternoon saying that he might need stitches. He was at a friends house, and there self made wagon puller didn't go quite as planned. They had attached a wagon behind a scooter, and the metal wagon handle came up and hit Grant in the area right below the nose in the middle. Luckily, even though there was a split, we are hoping the glue holds it together.

I refuse to admit that I'm too old for this...............
My roommates from college came to town Thursday evening and we had a "roomie reunion." We started at an old time favorite, Rock A Belly. I drug in a couple of photo albums and the giggles got started. Poor Kelly (gal in green) was student teaching the last semester, and it just happened to be the semester that was a breeze for the rest of us. So, she was either MIA in some photos, or in the background studying while we were doing headstands in our spare time.
Next stop, Kite's, then on to Last Chance. There was a band playing out back and I might have had happy feet for just a minute or two:)
Last bar of the evening, the Purple Pig. Back in our day, it was Scoreboard, and where we spent the majority of our time.
The bartender brought us some shots on the house because the juke box was broken. We ended our evening, or maybe I should say morning, at Gumbies Pizza. Before we knew it, we looked at our phones and it was 3:00AM!!!!!!! Needless to say, Friday morning was not my friend.
Thanks for a great evening friends. I look forward to doing it again.

Before and After
After over a year of remodeling the kitchen at the cabin, it is finally coming to an end. A BIG THANKS to my Mom and Dad, who basically did the remodel. Scott and I might of held a cabinet in place, and lifted a countertop here and there, but in the big picture, my parents pulled it off. What you can't tell from the before picture is how crooked the walls and floors are. I have learned a new meaning to shimeeing. Now, we just need the faucet in the kitchen to work (plumber coming on Monday) and eventually we (my Dad) will put knobs on the cabinet doors. I am pretty sure that we won't be starting anything new (except for some paint) anytime soon!! Thanks again Mom and Dad.
