S'pore Breakaway @ 15/10/2005

Finally, I gave myself a breakaway after almost a year of non-stop work… It wasn't an intention... Thanks to Nic, who knew that my favorite band is having their "farewell concert" in S'pore Indoor Stadium and asked me along...

Yup... It's Beyond, the HK band... They have been my inspiration since 14 yrs ago... And now, they announced to break the group officially and proceed their individual entertainment path after the gone of their main vocal, Ka Kui... whom always in remembrance by every Beyond fan... and so do I... : ( Because of them, I decided to go for the concert and at the same time, make a short tour to S'pore... Lucky me that 1 of my colleague, Ellis, who also decided to visit her friend whom work in S'pore is accompanying me on this 3D2N trip... : D

We had a fun & enjoyable moment on the concert nite which couldn't describe in words… In spite, we also had a memorable tour guided by Nic + Ellis's friend, Khoo... We visited some of those popular places of interest in town such as Bugis, City Hall, Underwater World, and of course also the well known musical fountain in magical Sentosa Island... which is really fun and magical although it was raining the whole day... Its kind of waste that we couldn't make it to the Night Safari + Orchard Road etc because of the time constraint... However, never forget treats that has been offered by both of them throughout the trip… Thanks gentlemen... ; ) Last... I would also like to thank Nic for being my personal “ah loong” in S’pore with no interest incurred... : P

Love & Peace Forever...

Is This The Inner Me...? @ 4/10/2005

Your Inner Child Is Sad

You're a very sensitive soul.
You haven't grown that thick skin that most adults have.
Easily hurt, you tend to retreat to your comfort zone.
You don't let many people in - unless you've trusted them for a long time.

Inter-Div Badminton Tournament '05 @ 1/10/2005

We recently had our Annual Inter-Division Badminton Tournament at Bandar Puteri, Puchong. Well... Nothing much cause we ( the same batch of committees ) had organized this event and worst of all, I'm not participating ( you all know la... I'm not good in sport ma )...

Although it's rather bored and tired after all the F&B preparations for 2 days I would say, but no doubt we do feel proud as we made this a successful event again. : ) And, the best part is... I too... won a trophy... Yeahhh ! Wonder why ? Because my division won the 1st Runner Up in the tournament lo... : P

Dama Orchestra - September Tale @ 24/09/2005

Hmm… This is something about September month again… Back to 10 yrs back in May 8, 1995, a date to remember for all oldies lovers… The day where Teresa Teng, the worldwide classic singer left due to severe asthma attack in Thailand…

I attended the Dama Orchestra - September Tale @ KLPAC lately, it’s about the story, the life and songs of Teresa Teng jointly perform by soprano, Ms. Tan Soo Suan and Dama Orchestra. It was really a good show as her performance was great with her showmanship and the way she brought up those songs. And of couse... not forgotten the “hidden” essence of the show, the Malaysia Dama Orchestra team. Thanks to my company whose 1 of the core sponsor of this show, so that I could grab the chance to watch such kind of performance where my beloved father used to love...

Many of Teresa’s songs were sung during the show which includes golden classics like “Yue Liang Dai Biao Wo De Xin”, “Tian Mi Mi”, “He Ri Jun Zai Lai”, “Ni Zen Me Shuo”, “Xiao Cheng Gu Shi” etc… Sounds good? And you know what, I bet you will be more enjoyable and feel the mood if you did went for the show. : )

Last, she’s gone, but not forgotten with her songs live on… And she remains to be the “Eternal Sweetheart” in the heart of Chinese societies worldwide, leaving her countless fans for 3 decades.

Teresa Teng In Memory…
