Munmun's Trail : : 敏子の迹

This is my 2nd participation on this event, a voluntary work for SP Setia Foundation. This year we organized a night visit to the government city, Putrajaya instead of a morning trip as compared to last year. And you can just imagine, we ( few of the volunteers + the PIC ) even have to 1st made our own night visit to Putrajaya 2 days before the event to familiarize ourselves on the night Putrajaya route. Sigh… : S Anyway, I’m happy that I’m part of this charitable work though it was a tiring day again... : )

Y2007, what a brand new year… This is also the year with a total new working environment and job nature to me. Ehh… for those of you who doesn’t aware off… Munmun has transferred from MIS Department to Loyalty Programme Department beginning Y2007 which has been taking me a long time to make this decision after much consideration from almost every aspect… A total switch from pure I.T / Programming line into a new line with 30% on system support + maintenance and 70% on sales and promotion / marketing strategy. Erm… its basically a department which handle SP’s Loyalty Programme, where I need to support + maintain the Loyalty System, plan and propose group wise promotion / marketing plan to retain our customers loyalty… Well… I don’t know how I will be ended up since most of the things are total new to me and also beyond my knowledge which I have to unlearn and relearn. What I can do now is to try my best and hope I can excel in this new job of mine… : )

Me and my family never had any local / oversea family trip before on our own… This year we finally able to spared our time for a 6D5N Macau HK Free & Easy Tour as our family trip. Besides, it was also to fulfill my youngest sister, Winnie’s wish to visit Disneyland… And, I'm glad that all of us are able to make it to the trip including my dear Alv and Samanda's other half, Koh... : D

We took early AK flight to Macau for 1D1N stay at this Monte Carlo of the East ( 东方蒙地卡罗 ), we had a half day city tour around Macau and spent the night visiting to different casinos… of course we do made some small bet lar… Win / loose? Well, you guess leh… : P

Then we took ferry transit to HK for another 5D4N stay at this city of shopping heaven after checked out from Macau Hotel the next day… Guess what? I met my ex-"Si Tau Po", AL at Macau Jetty oh… : )



At HK, we had our accommodation at 1 of the International 5-Stars Hotel, Novotel Citygate, Tung Chong ( 东茺 ). Though it’s a bit too far from the city but it was really a comfortable, big + nice to stay hotel. Because of the travel distance, we only able to visit some places of interest due to we don’t have much time to travel around. We also have to split into few small groups especially during shopping time simply because what guys are searching for is different from what girls are looking for… Among those places of interest that we have visited were Jambo Floating Restaurant ( 珍宝海鲜舫 ), Tsin Tsui Wan where we are able to see 1 of Jacky Chan’s house from far, Madame Tussauds Wax Museum ( 杜莎夫人蜡像馆 ), Tai Ping San ( 太平山 ), The Magical HK Disneyland ( 香港迪斯尼乐园 ), Dai Yu San Buddha ( 大屿山天坛大佛 ) + Bo Lin Zhi ( 宝莲寺 ) via the latest attraction Ngong Ping ( 昂平 ) 360 Skyrail, Lui Yan Gai ( 女人街 Women’s Street ), Lan Kwai Fong ( 兰桂坊 ), Central ( 中环 ), Sheung Wan ( 上环 ), Wong Kok 旺角 ( 咖喱鱼丸 Curry Fish Balls, 臭豆腐 Smelly Tau Fu, 牛杂 Beef Intestines... : P~ ), Tsim Sha Tsui ( 尖沙咀 ) for crazy shopping + NY2007 countdown, factory outlet ( 东茺名店仓 ) shopping joint next to our hotel at Tung Chong ( 东茺 ) etc etc…



Mm... How much is the total spending after all these? Haii… Beside than the tour fare for about MYR 2.5K/pax… I’ve spent >MYR 4K, Alv spent almost MYR 3K, Karen + my brother in-law, Chasel spent >MYR 8K, my mom + my youngest sister spent the least at only about MYR 3K for both and for Samanda + Koh… err... ehh… dunno ler, didn't find out from them… There goes all our $$$... Sob sob sob... Sigh… : S

HK... Really a Shopping Heaven for all. Feel It ! Live It...! : )
