Munmun's Trail : : 敏子の迹

One day, I passed by an ordinary double storey terrace house but special to me, a house which I thought that I’ll be visiting + dining regularly and spending time with to recover my heart a year before. Yes! It’s the house of the Nissan Frontier that I met, the house where it stays with its family members. : ( Apart from the strange feeling appeared, my mood went even worst when I noticed a metallic red Honda City was parked in front of the house at such timing which at the same time, I can’t recall any of its family member has this car model. Then, at the speed of light, my intuition told me that it was belongs to its newly found + committed lady driver. I don’t know why I had such intuition but I know the occurrence of this metallic red Honda City has crashed my mind + woke me up from my day dream for sure. Well... Of course lor~ If one is allow to choose between a young + sexy + trendy + higher capacity + expensive metallic red Honda City and an old + aunty + conservative + lower capacity + inexpensive metallic red Perodua Kelisa, of course one will choose to accompany the branded one rather than the local made ler… Sob sob sob… :’(

Being part of the one who is selling high end properties and dealing with customers coming from all levels + sectors, it’s a norm for us to see the other side of so called rich customers, especially the ugly side of those rich but not so rich / wealthy people. I found they are the most irritating + fussy + nasty customers because they will try to deem whatever / whatsoever thing that they think they are entitled for with their very harsh way as if we owed them, as if worrying people around them didn’t know that they had reached the rich level. Unlike those really rich / wealthy, they are normally low profile + humble to people around. Why? Why this particular circle of so-called just rich people acted so? Are they worry others don’t know that they are rich? Or they worry people to look down at them? Well… to me, I guess these people are simply lack of morality.

Last week, as at when Account Department received an invoice on Setia Eco Park’s featuring advertisement charges in Home Finder magazine, me and my colleague, Sennie found that we were being featured in the said magazine too of which, we have totally forgotten that we were being interviewed during our last Malaysia International Luxury Properties Exhibition 2008 in KLCC Convention Centre back in 23 April. This is thanks to another colleague of mine, Pauline who grab us along in the interview session, so that we can tag along for indirect self-marketing + free advertisement. : P Anyone interested? Semi-ds, bungalows, prime bungalow lots or us…? Hahahaha… : D

This year, I received quite a number of gifts from fellow colleagues, friends + family which I didn’t get any in last year except bitter sweet memories if I’m not wrongly remembered. Thanks to all who have brightened up my big day and given me another day to remember. Now... here’s what I got… Tada~

Sweetie SH invited me to join this charity run which I was interested and decided to join. I then spread the invitation to few of my colleagues + friends, but only 1 of my colleague, ML interested to join us. We woke up early the morning, picked up ML at Puchong Office and meet up with SH at the venue, Desa Water Park, Taman Desa KL. It was out of my expectation that there were actually lots of participants and some even really geared up as if must win in the run. Guess most of them aren’t first timer from how they get prepared, unlike me + SH… we went for the run without sport shoe. Paiseh…. =.=

It was a 4.8km run where participants are required to run the designated route with a cone containing an egg and participants will be discontinued from the race if the egg drops. With that, we run, run and run… ( walk, jog and walk in actual fact ) with the egg, took our own sweet time snapping photo at each kilometer’s signage, chitchatting + laughing all the way till we reached the finish line where ML has reached long ago being the Top 50, having her milo + chewing the given red bean bun. =.=” After some rest, SH offered ML a ride home since both of them found that they were actually staying nearby + going back to Ipoh, we then went off separately after waved goodbye.

P/S: We were all suffer from muscle cramp continuously for few days after the event. : S

Marche, The Curve @ 29/6/2008
Erm… This makan-makan was organized by my colleague, Sennie with Cecil sharp observant that I wasn’t able to try out Marche during the last gathering with our ex-colleague, Sam. I’m thankful that they willing to spare their dinner time with me even though we were all tired after a long weekend event duty. We really enjoyed the good food and had our good time hanging out + chitchatting session. Thanks to Sennie + Cecil + Alex + Eric for the meal treat that has filled up my stomach as well as my birthday eve… : D Ehh… when are we going to try their buffet huh? : )~

1 Station, Subang USJ @ 30/6/2008
In view of bro Stephen’s last day in SP + his new job commencement, my colleague, AT organized a 2-in-1 gathering session with me, bro Stephen and our ex-colleague, Janice on this date. As usual, AT who is busier than me arrived later in the night after the three of us had our dinner and/or supper. No matter what… we enjoyed the gathering session very much since it has been quite some time we didn’t manage to catch up with each others. : ) Oya, thanks to bro Stephen + Janice for the birthday song dedication… ; )

Steak Out, Bandar Puteri Puchong @ 1/7/2008
My ex-colleague, CN initiated this gathering, partly because of my birthday and also our long forgotten buddy catch up due to busy working life. After much delay, we decided to change venue and try out the pork steak at the above venue. Attended the gathering were CN, myself + another ex-colleague of mine, LC because ML flow us airplane. Luckily we still have another colleague, AT who decided to join us at last minute. We enjoyed the food and had our time catching up with each others at own pace that night. Btw, their pork rib steak is good duh… : D~

Sushi Zanmai, Sunway Pyramid @ 3/7/2008
Sweetie SH asked + picked me out for a dinner on this date of which, we have chosen to dine at this restaurant after considered SH’s friends recommendation. Having tried on the food, we conclude that the food is worth to try since it tastes good and with lots of varieties. However, one may have to consider to place a booking / be there earlier for seats because it’s quite pack during meal time. Me + SH enjoyed our time having see all sorts of delicious dishes, trying out the food and of course catching up with each other the most. : D

I was supposed to on leave this day per my usual practice ever since I started my working life. Perhaps, one may ask why I did so… Well~ That simply because I don’t wish to be ordered / instructed and worst still on this big day of mine lor… : ) Unfortunately, this year I can’t get my leave approved due to rushing of tasks in hand, which has made my day unhappy + moody. : (

Nevertheless, my day was then been brightened up later in the evening when my fellow departmental colleagues cheated me down to Canopy Club for an unscheduled meeting. It was really an inaugural meeting session discussing club house operation matter at first which then changed to a warm little birthday celebration as what we usually have for our departmental colleague’s birthday since the club house opened. Then, the question could this be 1 of the reason that I can’t get my leave approved came into my mind even though I insists to take leave… Anyhow, this wasn’t a doubted question anymore because they had given me a memorable working day. Thanks to my buddy departmental colleagues thoughtfulness for such a wonderful arrangement and gifts. : )

Today, I received an unintended update / rumor from a colleague of mine...

Somebody was betrayed by someone whom somebody betrayed me because of that someone 1 year+ ago. Is this true? Is this shows that what you did to somebody is what you will get from somebody else? Is this karma? Is this... Or…… =.=
( no comment… as this has got nothing to do with me anyway )
