如果没有你
主唱: 莫文蔚
Hey 我真的好想你
现在窗外面 又开始下着雨
眼睛干干的 有想哭的心情
不知道你现在到底在哪里
Hey
Hey 我真的好想你
不知道你现在到底在哪里
你是否也像我一样在想你

Gathering & Party In The USS @ 4/8/2012
I extend my stay in Singapore after the 2 days Ritz-Carlton 5-Star Service Excellent Training program to pay my buddy Liching & Meilee a visit separately. I took the MRT to meet up with buddy Liching for dinner at City Hall, Raffles Place soon after the training finished. We had a good time catching up with each other and discussed about our upcoming trip despite that the hard time to find a dining place due to the peak hour and lost while we were on the way back. After bid goodbye to Liching, I took the MRT to meet up with another buddy of mine, Meilee at Yishun. Both Meilee & Karfai picked me up at the control station and leaded me to their house where I can then take a shower to settle myself for rest. We had a good night long chat after we didn’t see each other for almost a year+ since she has moved to Singapore a year+ ago. From work to personal, from personal to relationship, it is just too much for us to catch up, we only later then realized that it is almost 2am in the
morning. We then continued our chat topics whilst we were on the bed until we were signal off. It’s 4/8… Woke up and refreshed myself to get ready for our visit to Universal Studio Singapore ( USS ). We had our local breakfast near to Meilee’s house before we took MRT to Harbour Front to meet up with another friend of mine, TH who took the trouble to catch up and accompany me to USS. USS was crowded in due to weekend but still fine to pay a visit if one doesn’t mind queue at least 45min for an attraction. We first experienced the Lights! Camera! Action! Hosted by Steven Spielberg in New York zone, we admired the incredible special effects where an empty soundstage with calm day setting suddenly turns into a stormy setting of a Category 5 major hurricane that about to hit the New York City which is then returns and restores itself.
The first ride we went was the Battlestar Galactica: Human vs. Cylon in Sci-Fi City, I was conned by TH to queue the Cylon blue inverted ( legs-free ) roller coaster instead of the Human red traditional seated ones. It was too late to regret because we had queued for almost 30min, so I can only proceed to ride the Cylon under a drizzling rain. Yes! It’s raining… where I ought to buy a raincoat to continue my exploration. I then queued for almost 90min+ for the Revenge of the Mummy Coaster Ride alone which TH had tried before in Ancient Egypt zone. It was even more horrify ride than the legs-free Battlestar Galactica: Cylon ride to me, because of the dark indoor surrounding and one of its sudden reverse tracks. No wonder TH refused to accompany me for this ride… >.<
Rain came again while we were having our lunch break at Discovery Food Court in Jurassic Park / The Lost World zone. While the rain eases a little, we continued to ride the windy Canopy Flyer at Jurassic Park zone. In view of the long queue experience in previous ride, we were smarter now to take the single rider queue instead of the ordinary group queue. The line was way much faster as we only waited for less than 30min to get our turn.
After the windy fly, we watched the WaterWorld Stunt Show at The Lost World zone, a sensational live water show that witnessed a tidal wave of death-defying stunts, along with thrills and spills from real explosions of fire and water. Warning! Always chose to sit right back in the middle instead in front of seating arena to avoid being wet, the show was good in audience involving and interaction. We also experienced the Shrek 4-D Adventure in Far Far Away where we able to see, hear and actually feel the action right from our seat via the miracle OrgreVision lens. Then, we also took the opportunity to snap some photos with Alex the lion, Marty the zebra, Melman the giraffe & Gloria the hippo as we walked towards the Madagascar zone. We then returned for our last ride of the day, Transformers The Ride: The Ultimate 3D Battle in Sci-Fi City which was early omitted due to technical problem. As strategized, we queued the single rider line that only took us about 30min of waiting time instead of 105min as claimed by the group of riders that share the same new Autobot known as EVAC with me. EVAC carried the riders into the center of a 4min battle between the human-friendly Autobots and the evil Decepticons, zipping through the subway tunnels, city streets and across high-rise rooftops through a variety of simulator and 3D effects as the riders volunteered to save the planet together with Optimus Prime and the Autobots.
Last, we also waited and watched the parade. Though the parade was not as lengthy as compared with the one in Disney Land HK but it’s still worth to watch because of a different experience and different characters. We left Sentosa Island about 9pm and ended the day having dinner at Food Republic, Vivo City Harbour Front before we bid goodbye to TH and headed home to Meilee’s place for a good rest after a tiring day out… zzZ~
...... There gone my weekend in Singapore after I had tea break with TH the next day at Fruit Paradise Café, Vivocity before departure to KL.

5* Service Excellent Training At Ritz-Carlton, S’pore @ 2 & 3/8/2012
A group of 60 SP staff were flown to Singapore 2 weeks ago attended to a 5-Star Service Excellent Training Program and experienced the 5-Star services at the remarkable Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore. The objectives of the team being sent over is to benchmark against the best practice company and learn the best from the best world recognized company.
We didn’t start the training program immediate on the first day of arrival. Instead, we were picked up by our friendly Singapore team members for a lunch buffet and at the same time, visited the tastefully designed show units at their new 18 Woodsville Sales Gallery, Patong Pasir. We then were brought to visit the latest Singapore’s attraction, Garden by the Bay at Marina Bay. We were later then transported back to check-in Ritz-Carlton (RC) and enjoyed sumptuous dinner buffet at RC after a short rest / quick
shower.
We were leaded to visit the famous Marina Bay Sand Hotel for a night outing at the top of the hotel after dinner. There, we enjoyed our drink treats next to the roof top infinity swimming pool with amazing night view and skyline. After a night out and good rest on super comfortable bed, I woke up slightly late in the morning forgoing my buffet breakfast and rushed myself to attend the training. We were fortunate to have Alexandra Valentin, the Corporate Director from the Leadership Center of The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company as our trainer to share the power of cultural transformation. It was a very fruitful training indeed, we have learnt the Ritz-Carlton (RC) Gold Standard, the 5 Leadership Principles and their exceptional customer service philosophy and orientation. Besides, we were also amazed by the employee panel session that shows how RC ladies and gentlemen fulfilled our unexpressed needs, their commitment in daily line up and their belief in RC service philosophy.

We debriefed and called the training session off on time to rush the flights. With that, we also have in mind that we were required to pay our full commitment in coming assignment to generate valuable ideas and establish Setia’s 5-Star Standard. Haiz…

R.I.P Barkly Boy… @ 31/7/2012
It was a sad day to my family as we found our big house dog had finally decided let go himself when sis Karen banged our bedroom door early in the morning…. Barkly boy was with us since he was a puppy where sis Karen bought him back from a pet shop around Petaling Street. Although Barkly wasn’t a pure breed and without certificate but we still love him very much. He was such a cute little puppy that braves enough to jump / felt himself down when we put him high on top of a basket that used to be his bed.
As time goes by, Barkly became smarter and smarter. He guarded our house responsibly whenever there is a stranger walks near to our house gate, welcome and make sure we were safely entered our house boundaries if so happens that he is off from his lash. Besides, Barkly boy remains positive even though he knew he was abandoned for a certain period when sis Karen moved out from our house and was not by his side. He was truly a positive and strong boy when he was first diagnosed with lymphoma cancer about 1 month ago. Pity him not only had to go through all sorts of scanning and diagnosis, he even had to blindly suffer from neuter surgery as advised by the vet that may ease his illness but not at the end. Aside, we sensed that he felt embarrassed as he gets weaker and weaker day by day where he no longer able to guard our house, no longer able to walk and eat… till we have to take care of him in reverse. We also felt that Barkly boy forced himself to stay alive despite that he was actually deeply suffer because he worried nobody else could guard us if he left due to both his brothers were toy dog species. We felt the sorrow and take turn to talk to him the night before we plan to euthanize him the next day. We told him that he has gave his very best and we are proud of him, told him not
to worry about us as we will be fine, asking him to hint us / let go if he no longer able to stand the deep suffer. Barkly boy eventually waited each of us to got home and talked to him the night before he left… I can clearly remembered that I still able to observe him breathing in a very slow pace before I went to bed 3am+ in the morning just to make sure Barkly boy is still fine. However… :’(
We believed that Barkly boy doesn’t wish to see us in making the difficult euthanize decision and at the same time, doesn’t wish us to sadly see him leaving. Therefore, he had chosen to let go himself quietly in dawn. We made all the afterlife arrangement, cremated his body the next day and brought back his ashes with us at home few days later.
My heartfelt last word… You have never failed to perform your duty & bring laughter to our life… We are proud to have you for the past 11+ years. You will definitely be remembered…
Rest in peace, Barkly… With love~
